As the title suggests.
The editor has informed me that the book will go live tomorrow at noon.
If I had to describe my feelings, it would be that time flies by so quickly.
It feels like my previous book just ended the day before yesterday, and I released this new one yesterday, and now it's already about to go live.
In this book, I feel like I've made noticeable progress compared to before. Readers who've followed my previous work might have seen this too.
I avoided a lot of pitfalls that I stumbled into with the previous book, and the development of the relationships with the female leads feels more natural, not as abrupt, so the stats before going live are also much better than last time.
Of course, I still experience writer's block here and there, which is frustrating. I get stuck writing daily scenes, fight scenes, and even romance scenes—sometimes I feel like I don't really have a forte. But making it to the "Three Rivers" recommendation section proves that, at least, what I'm struggling to write still passes the bar.
Getting my new book on the Three Rivers list is something I never even dared to imagine while writing my last book. I used to feel so awed talking to the big names of Three Rivers; now, my second book has made it there too.
In any case, to have my first book become a quality work and my second book make it to Three Rivers, with a shot at being marked as premium—this is all thanks to the support from all of you readers, making it possible for me to make a living in this industry.
Here, your humble author, thick-skinned as ever, sincerely asks everyone to lend their support when the book goes live, maybe give it a first subscription or some coins.
I'll keep working hard to write, aiming to craft this story, which I've poured so much thought and effort into from the very beginning.
You can see it from a few of the special chapters—how hard I've worked to portray the original Tang San character with all his quirks. There's really no need to deliberately exaggerate his flaws; just mentioning what he says and does alone is amusing enough. He truly is something else!
Oh, and once the book goes live, I'll set up two new reader groups.
The first group will have a lower entry threshold; any sections removed due to content review will be posted there. The second group will be more exclusive, similar to the last book, where I'll share some side stories—ahem, you all know the kind.
I'll be updating with ten thousand characters on launch day, and in the days following, I'll gradually release the drafts I've prepared.
As for additional updates, since I write part-time and can't produce too much every day, I won't be setting any specific targets; I'll just release whatever I manage to write each day—that's my limit, so there's no backlog.
Monthly votes or rewards? If you're enjoying the story, feel free to toss some my way, but there's no pressure.
Forever grateful, many thanks.
Toot toot—toot—
