"Tha hell!!!"
Zain screamed not minding the students walking on the corridor along with them. It sure brought him attention though but he couldn't careless.
"Such cuties!"
"I can't stop my self from blushing!"
"Damn, they are hot!"
Multiple comment could be heard from the ladies that passed the corridor.
"Harry!"
Still unable to believe, Zain rubbed his eyes and stared at the tag on his shirt one more time which read: Teacher Harry.
"You are a teacher here!?!"
With a soft smile harry replied. "Of course I am, are you blind."
"You!!! A teacher here!!! I thought you said you just came into this city."
"Yeah, I wasn't lying about that don't ask me." Harry replied, walking off and Zain followed.
And you said you don't have magic! So how come, how are you a teacher in this mage school.
With a finger on his chin, Harry reasoned before answering. I have my way of doing things, do bother to question deeper because no information I'll give you now is necessary.
What is necessary is the fact am here. His voice slowly raised up as spoke excitedly.
"Now that we are back, we have a lot on our table Zain." Harry then paused to look at Zain for a brief moment before turning away. "And it seems like you havent improved even the slightest In terms of magic."
"I'm disappointed."
Stunned, Zain questioned.
"How did you know about that?!"
"I can already tell with a single glance, you energy flow Is so disorganized and rampant."
*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*
The loud alarming bell resounded through out the entire building, signalling that the break time has elapsed.
Harry turned towards the hallway.
"Guess it's time to go back to you class. I don't want you getting in trouble, we'll talk later."
"Yeah, I need to hurry back." Zain replied. "But how are we going to meet again, I don't want you disappearing like you did before.
With his fingers rubbing his blad jaw, he then suggest. How about my office.
'This man has a office here already!'
'Yeah, tell me the address so I can re-set the default location on my stat sticker to it."
*****
Inhale!
Exhale!
A bright glow radiated from the pupil, puting a smile to Growl's face.
"That's good, that good."
*Energy ball*
From below lyra's palm, a ball of pure white energy materialized.
Growl smiled before giving his final announcement.
"Now every one is capable of casting a pure energy ball, the lesson of today is completed."
"You all are dismissed."
Zain remained, knowing fully well that he is not among the students Growl was referring to, infact, it is literally time for his lesson.
"Zain." Growl called out softly as he looked at the wall clock, it is already 6 o'clock, today's lesson lasted more than I anticipated.
"I don't think our extra class will be possible today but I promise to compensate for it."
Zain wore quite with a sad look on his face portraying the opposite of how he was feeling at the moment.
"I'm save, faith must have been smiling on me today." Zain nearly shed tears of joy as he bowed down in respect and exit the class.
"I'm feeling so lazy now, I don't even know if I should go home or pay Harry a visit."
After contemplating for a while, Zain made his choice. "The entire day, he spent it watching the others improve their magic, if he doesn't care visit Harry now, the entire day would be a waste."
'Harry did say something about my magic core, maybe he could help.'
This school is quite strict, ready to dispose mage who do not earn enough points to pass the cutoff mark.
Oral class activity involvement such as answering questions cannot even generate enough points to sum up to the required point and besides, so far, no one have earned even a single point from any teacher during the classes he have attended.
Such stinginess!
The only effective way to be able to earn enough points to retain In the school is by fighting. Either by requesting a duel to battle a student or to partake in the weekly assessment, a must for every student.
Death is not a strange occurrence during the beast raiding assessment, that is stated In the Lowaling school books, boldly.
When a student die by beast, they simply get retrieved by the school and buried, that is if the student don't get consumed by the beast before the school can get involved. This mage world is a world that strongly embrace the scary quote: the survival of the fittest.
It is not the schools fault for a student to be too weak to handle themselves In the school assessment, no charges will be pressed.
During the raid, the students will be taken outside the human territory to the beast territory for haunting, beasts that can be encountered there is of random species and rank, so no one knows what to be expecting.
You can end up encountering a powerful beast like Rank-D or Rank-C beast or worse case even a Rank-B. Fighting random beast Continuously will put every mage at disadvantage.
If one Continuously fight a particular beast, he might adapt and find easier way to handle it. But fighting random beast... You'll never know what's coming.
The only way to guarantee survival is by getting stronger and what's worse is that the assessment is fast approaching. It is just two days away.
No way can one at Zain's level evolve in such speed to be able to handle a rank-E beast.
Finally arriving at the door of Harry's office, Zain paused for a moment nervously. Not because he was scared of Harry, no Harry was strong but not frightening to Zain even in the slightest.
But because of the memories his mind was deriving from the brown door, the memories he remembered from his lesson with Growl.
'i know that man is a good guy but still...'
Creek!
The door opened as Zain stepped into the room, blinding light at first stopped his vision but then the entire view of the room came to him.
Tha hell!!!
This wasn't what he anticipated, he expected a room with a desk and books piled on a shelf like how a teacher office should look like but he was left dumbfounded by what he stood on.
Harry is not a bookworm kinda guy after all, but this!
Under the expansion spell like many other room in the building, Harry room was massive. It has a neatly trimmed carpet grass that expanded throughout the room, or more appropriately, field.
Far off in the field laid a small dojo. The kind of dojo Zain finds only in comics.
"No way"
Right in front of the dojo, Harry could be seen calmly standing on the entrance, backing Zain. The soft wind in the field blew past his hair making it do a gentle dance.
'why is he always acting like some sort of big shot.' Zain twist his mouth to the side trying to hide his jealousy.
Turning around with a wide grin, Harry greeted.
"Welcome Zain, do you want to get stronger!"
