"Crimes? By now, I've lost count of them!"
Uchiha Tajima, known for his decisive and ruthless nature, scoffed at Uchiha Igaku's words. His sharp, tiger-like eyes glared at the eerie old man before him.
"But I, Uchiha Tajima, have never done anything to betray my clan."
"Heh, save your hypocritical excuses," Uchiha Igaku sneered, raising his withered hand to display a jar containing a Sharingan. After wiping it gently, he continued,
"You think you can hide what you did to Shinzo forever?"
"What are you talking about?"
Hearing the mention of Uchiha Shinzo, who had passed away years ago, memories flooded Tajima's mind. His brow furrowed, and his tone turned bitter.
"My sister and brother-in-law sacrificed themselves to save me. I owe them deeply."
"Still putting on an act, are we? Gin, is this the 'good uncle' you've been talking about?"
Uchiha Igaku's gray eyes gleamed with mockery as he turned to the silent Uchiha Gin, speaking coldly.
"What? Gin! You two...?"
Tajima's face twisted in disbelief as he noticed the strange connection between the eerie old man and Uchiha Gin. He turned, his voice filled with shock.
"Gin, Gin! What's going on?"
Perched comfortably on Gin's broad back, a confused young girl poked his spine with her finger and leaned closer to his ear, whispering curiously.
"Sigh..."
With no time to explain to the girl on his back, Uchiha Gin let out a long sigh. How was he supposed to handle this mess? He needed to find a way to resolve this misunderstanding.
"Grandfather, uncle, how about we all sit down and talk this through?"
Caught between the two, Uchiha Gin tried to mediate, but both men's intense gazes bore into him, making his head throb.
"Gin, take out the headband I gave you and put it on Nameless."
Igaku, his face darkened with displeasure, commanded. His rebellious grandson was trying to go back on their agreement at the critical moment, and Igaku couldn't let him ruin his plan for revenge.
"Sorry, I refuse."
Gin pulled out the plain headband Igaku had given him years ago and crushed it with a determined look on his face.
As the headband shattered, a wisp of black energy rose from the debris on the ground. It swirled around him briefly before vanishing quietly. Behind him, the girl's eyes flashed black for a moment.
"That's it?"
Gin frowned as the black energy disappeared, feeling like something was off.
"Sigh, Gin, I gave you a chance, yet you still choose to stand against me. Is this how you honor your wrongfully killed parents?"
Igaku's voice trembled with emotion, his gaze fixated on Gin's eyes, which still held a glimmer of life.
"Tch, I don't even know how to explain this to you. Can't you see something's off with yourself?"
Gin scratched his messy curls in frustration, exhausted by the situation.
"You've been brainwashed by Tajima's eye technique. You can't even tell right from wrong anymore."
Ignoring Gin's rebellion, Igaku turned to the contemplative Tajima, his voice filled with hatred.
"Spectre, attack!"
There's more?
Hearing Igaku's order, Gin's heart raced. Even after he betrayed him, the old man was still going to fight?
"I've been waiting for this."
The figure behind Igaku, Black Zetsu, let out a rare sinister grin before transforming into a black shadow that rapidly rushed toward them.
So reckless? Was he always this bold?
Gin recalled Black Zetsu's future manipulations, contrasting with the reckless charge happening now, making him feel like he was facing a completely different person.
Shielding the girl on his back, Gin raised one hand, activating his Sharingan, watching the fast-moving black shadow with caution.
"Stay still! We're in the middle of a fight!"
Gin scolded as the girl behind him suddenly started squirming, distracting him from the battle.
"A fight? That's my favorite!"
Gin broke out in cold sweat as the girl's voice suddenly changed, her tone drastically different from before. Goosebumps crawled up his skin.
Before he could react, the girl behind him exploded into action, her bare foot kicking him several meters away.
"Hikari?!"
Gin staggered as the blow rocked his insides, struggling to steady himself.
When he turned around, he was shocked to see the girl standing barefoot on the grass, her cloak thrown off, revealing her delicate face.
Her gentle, peaceful expression was gone. Now, her lips curled into a crazed smile, her once-clear eyes had turned blood-red, and a wild, manic energy radiated from her.
"Hehehe... Finally, I'm free! I've broken this wretched seal at last!"
The darkened girl giggled eerily, covering her face with her hands. Then, she looked up at Gin, her Sharingan gleaming.
"And look, I've found my dear Gin right away. How perfect..."
The girl's voice dripped with excitement, though her crimson eyes betrayed a deep madness.
Is this also Black Zetsu's doing?
Gin's teeth clenched as he faced the now-deranged girl. This kind of twisted, obsessed personality was beyond him.
"I love you so much, Gin!"
The girl gazed at Gin, her voice sweet, but her body slowly floated into the air.
A cherry-red skeletal figure began to form around her, encasing her. As the power in her eyes intensified, thick armor materialized around the skeleton, and its height grew taller.
In no time, the skeleton had transformed into a massive armored figure wielding a cleaver-like blade.
The second stage of the Susanoo required a lot of energy. The girl, now standing within the giant, panted slightly, casting a bewitching smile at Gin.
"Gin, why didn't you come find me?"
Without warning, the girl's massive blade swung down.
"Detected combat with host. Steel Heart Treasure Box is now accumulating."
The enormous cleaver, imbued with Susanoo's power, crashed down. Gin, unwilling to expose his true strength, slammed his hands on the ground, unleashing a torrent of chakra.
Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!
With a loud rumble, a massive earthen wall several meters thick rose from the ground, adorned with a carved dog's face.
The girl's red blade smashed into the wall with tremendous force, sending shockwaves through the area and kicking up a cloud of dust.
As the smoke cleared, the girl scanned the area, searching for Gin. She was sure her blow hadn't killed him, maybe just maimed him a little so he could stay with her forever.
"Hehehe... huh?"
The girl tried to lift her cleaver again, but it wouldn't budge. Her Susanoo blade was tightly bound by thick branches that had somehow grown from the earthen wall.
Sitting casually on her Susanoo's shoulder, Gin, with his messy curls and deadpan eyes, flicked his ear and said smugly,
"A mere second-stage Susanoo, and you dare raise your voice at me?"
