''Have you reached out to her our son yet, Lucinda?"
Lucinda's fingers flinched at her husband's question while they were eating breakfast in the dining room.
She did not answer the question immediately and took her time to slice through the salmon on the plate.
''No, I haven't.'' Lucinda replied after chewing her food. Though her countenance seemed calm and composed, only she knew how agitated her mind was, especially with the mention of her son.
''Why haven't you?'' As expected, her husband frowned at her reply. ''I specifically told you to reach out to him and ask him out on a family dinner. We can't have the public laughing at us for not knowing the health of our son.''
''...The public?'' Lucinda laughed mockingly at his words. ''By the public, Mark, do you mean the families that attended my birthday banquet or Arabella's fans watching us on social media?''
