"Jack, wake up! Breakfast is here!" Ruby's voice echoed through the gym.
Jack groaned, sitting up on the mat where he had fallen asleep during his late-night training. "Ruby, it's way too early for your energy."
Ruby walked in, balancing two plates of pancakes and a tray of coffee. "You're the one who wanted to train like a maniac. A champion needs fuel, and I am your official food provider."
Jack smirked, wiping his face with a towel. "You're also the one who insisted I needed more carbs."
"Exactly," Ruby said confidently, walking toward him. "And these pancakes are—"
Before she could finish, her foot slipped on a stray dumbbell, and she yelped as she lost her balance.
"Whoa!" Jack lunged forward, catching Ruby just before she hit the ground. The pancakes fell safely onto the mat, and Ruby stared up at him, wide-eyed.
"Careful, Ruby. I thought you were the graceful one," Jack teased, holding her steady.
