From the VIP section, Victor "The Shadow" Lopez watched the fight with his usual stoic expression. While the crowd screamed and cheered, Victor sat motionless, his eyes tracking every movement Jack made.
"Impressive," he muttered to himself, his voice devoid of emotion.
The other fighters in the room avoided Victor, unnerved by his cold demeanor. But one couldn't help but glance at him, whispering to another.
"Do you think he's human?"
Victor didn't react to the comment. He simply stood and left the room, disappearing into the shadows as quietly as he'd arrived.
Backstage, Mia paced the hallway, her phone in hand. She had been digging into Victor's background for days, and what she'd found so far was troubling.
"There's nothing," she said aloud, frustrated. "No amateur fights, no records, no history. It's like he just appeared out of nowhere."
