Costa froze, his body locking up as pain overwhelmed him. He staggered backward, his hands dropping. Jack didn't hesitate. He stepped forward and delivered a clean right hook to Costa's temple, sending the Beast crashing to the mat.
The referee rushed in, waving his arms. "It's over!"
The arena erupted in cheers as Jack raised his fists in victory. Costa lay on the ground, clutching his side, unable to continue.
Jack stood in the center of the cage, his chest heaving as he soaked in the applause. The adrenaline coursing through his veins made him feel invincible, but he knew this was just the beginning.
Darius leaned back in his seat, a faint smirk on his face. "He's tougher than I thought," he muttered. "But he hasn't faced me yet."
Victor remained as unreadable as ever. When Jack passed by him on the way to the locker room, Victor stopped him with a single word. "Focus."
