Jack opened the round with a sharp jab, testing Aiden's guard. The punch slipped through, grazing Aiden's nose. He followed up with a quick one-two combination, the second punch landing cleanly on Aiden's cheek.
"Too slow, Frost," Jack taunted, circling around him.
Aiden grunted, his stance shifting slightly. He tried to counter with a low kick, but Jack checked it with ease and retaliated with a hook to the ribs that made Aiden wince.
"You're slipping," Jack said, his voice calm and almost taunting. "This is my fight."
But Aiden wasn't done yet. As Jack pressed forward, Aiden ducked under a wild right hook and planted a heavy body shot into Jack's side.
THUD.
Jack staggered, the air knocked from his lungs.
"Not bad," Jack admitted, taking a step back to reset.
