The darkness disappeared, replaced by a blinding light that seared my eyelids. I raised a trembling hand to shield my face, only to realize I wasn't in my comfort zone.
The air reeked of decay like that of the dead. Weakly I struggled to sit up, making my eyes wander around the surroundings.
I was definitely not in my territory instead I was somewhere else. It was abandoned and less attractive to the eye,with little flickering bulbs above the ceiling.
The walls covered in cobwebs, the sliders domain and the floor littered with debris.
"Welcome, spectra." A voice echoed..... throughout the building.
"You're our only hope." It resounded again making my eyes darting around searching for the source as I cower in fear.
" Romania will meet it's end."
I gasped in shock... My eyes finally coming in contact with the glowing artifact.
"Spectra... You have been chosen by the goddess." The deep voice resounded in my ears, echoing through the walls, sending shivers down my spine.
Without a second thought, I stumbled to my feet, eager to escape the warehouse and its unsettling secrets.
As I fled, the city lights blurred together outside. Making my fears and worries increase, My thoughts swirled with questions.
What had happened? What have I done? Romania will meet it's end?
