Ariel's face flushed as her heartbeat quickened, but Rhysand kept her pinned, leaving her with no chance of escape.

It was like trying to push a solid, unmovable stone. She could only speak in frustration, "Didn't you just say you didn't want it? Get up first."

"I didn't say that," Rhysand replied in a low voice.

Ariel's cheeks grew even redder.

Rhysand held her firmly in his arms, his strong arm wrapped around her, his chin resting against her shoulder.

It was an incredibly intimate position.

After a moment's hesitation, Ariel gently patted his back. "I made some honey hangover tea. Do you want some?"

Rhysand looked up at her and said, "I thought you didn't make any."

"I'm not like someone who throws a tantrum," Ariel muttered.

Rhysand raised an eyebrow and gently pinched her chin. "Oh, so you're learning to talk back now?"

Annoyed, Ariel turned her head and shook off his hand.
