Ariel Ocean quickly stood up with a sincere expression on her face.
"Lauren, I just joined the company and I don't know why they arranged it like this. I'll go find the director now and ask him to cancel the order," she said, before turning and leaving the office.
As she walked away, she heard her colleagues whispering behind her.
"First Miss Ocean is so powerful, she became the deputy team leader as soon as she arrived," one voice said.
"Yeah, she didn't even graduate from college. Why does she get to order us around?" another added.
"I heard Ariel got in by using connections. Let's stay away from her in the future; we can't afford to offend her."
Ariel found the director and explained she wanted to cancel the order, feeling it was unfair to others.
