Chapter 2 - Chapter2:Opening

Aaron has a little-known hobby.

He likes playing snooker. Compared with fierce attacks, he is better at defense.

He designs one delicate trap after another, waiting for his opponents to step in willingly.

But there are almost no people who can be called his opponents.

So, most of the time, he chooses to play by himself.

In the largest private room on the second floor of Comet Bar, he has placed a billiards table. Occasionally, after finishing a game, he will stand in front of the floor-to-ceiling window of one-way glass and watch people playing on the first floor.

Today, the atmosphere in the hall is extraordinary because a sexy woman with outstanding billiards skills has just arrived.

The close-fitting red dress outlines a perfect curve.

She sits by the table, gently pushes the cue, and the last ball falls into the pocket as expected.

The man opposite her pounded the table in frustration.

She walked to the man's side with a hearty smile and politely planted a kiss on the man's cheek. The man visibly cheered up again.

The bar owner walked up to Aaron: "How is it? It wasn't a wasted trip today."

Aaron nodded: "A very strong player."

Also very charming.

The woman lowered her body, her eyes focused, and a wavy lock of hair rested on her cheek.

Aaron even had the impulse to go downstairs and help her tidy her hair.

He laughed at himself, took a sip of whiskey, and suppressed this unprovoked heartbeat.

At the start of a new round, the man had very good luck.

A highly difficult snooker shot pushed the atmosphere of the whole venue to another climax.

The target ball was surrounded by two red balls at a very tricky angle.

Aaron silently calculated several paths in his mind but still had no clue.

"This time, I guess she's going to fail."

But at this moment, the woman straightened up.

She said with a smile, "If I can solve this ball, can I have a reward?"

The man opposite her said with a smile, "Sure."

The woman said, "If I win, I want you to buy a drink for everyone present."

Then, amid the cheers of the crowd, the white ball followed the carefully designed path without any deviation, hit the wall three times in succession, and successfully hit the ball.

Even Aaron couldn't help but exclaim in his heart:"Good shot!"

After that, the woman took advantage of the victory to pursue and didn't give her opponent a chance to turn the tables.

As the last ball fell into the pocket, everyone at the scene was cheering and shouting the woman's name.

"Is she called Anna?"

Aaron asked, but he didn't pay attention to the bar owner's answer and repeated the woman's name to himself.

I know he's looking at me.

For a powerful person of his status, if you want to get close to him, you must arouse his sufficient interest.

Only when he takes the initiative to approach will he not look down on you.

I ignored the ambiguous glances around me, drank up the tequila in my hand, put the cue in my pocket, and left the bar.

For an unspoken purpose, Aaron would appear at Comet on time for two consecutive weeks.

But strangely, he just watched from the second floor and never played himself.

Until today, he said to the bar owner surprisingly, "Set up a table for me on the first floor."

He took off his suit jacket and unbuttoned the cuffs of his shirt, like a lion ready to pounce.

He placed the balls one by one on the table to the appropriate positions.

When he stood up, the woman named Anna was already standing in front of his table.

She smiled charmingly, like a blooming bright rose: "Sir, are you waiting for me?"

Aaron didn't speak but just lowered his body and made the opening shot.

With a sound of the ball falling into the pocket, he then replied, "Isn't it you who has been waiting for me all along, Miss Anna?"

Thud.

The ball falls into the pocket.

The smile that had always been on Anna's face froze briefly on her face, but then, she smiled even more brightly.

"Mr. Aaron, I hope we will have a wonderful game."
