She doesn't remember who she is, but if it wasn't for this strange Tower calling her and possessing her body with its weird powers, she would probably never even have a goal in her life. Chapter 1 - The Unkown

Qo was floating through the current anomaly like she always does. Nobody really understand why the world turned into a place, that is absent from every prior description an individual made about the planet.

The rain was pitch black and poured down from the sky, without ever taking a break. Sometimes, a anomaly would reverse the flow of the rain, making the water from the ground go upwards.

"The Tower...I have to reach it." Qo mumbled, as she walked like a controlled puppet through the strange surroundings. Sometimes she starts to levitate, due to the lack of permanent gravity. Everything is like a big and messy canvas, that was painted by an crazy painter and then left unfinished in the basement.

Not a single person knew why the world turned into a place like this. One day, the humans suddenly woke up and couldn't remember anything, except their own language. No one knew the meaning of love, friends,or family anymore.

But there is another thing the humans share in some kind of collective mindset; they have to reach the upper floor of the Tower. Their whole body aches for it. It was hard to even find the slightest structure of society in this broken world. People travel together in small groups, but rarely talk with each other during their walk.

The Tower is a strange, ominous structure hidden beneath thick layers of white fog. The sheer size of the unknown building is mind-blowing, since it easily pierced through the clouds in the sky and even further than that. Like a Moth that is attracted to light, are humans attracted to this certain structure.

Qo could see the Tower at the horizon. She went through forests, deserts and snowy landscapes to finally reached the spot, her mind and body dragged her to reach.

Perhaps deep inside her is some fragment of the soul that once inhibited her body, but now, she is nothing more than one of many puppets, that behave like zombies until they reach their ultimate goal.

Every single time she tried to resist her unknown urge to reach the Tower, it pulled her right back in. She dreams about reaching the huge structure every night.

"I...have...to...reach." Qo sighed mindlessly while marching through a swamp, ignoring all the obstacles in her way, ignoring all the paining her calves. The beautiful women completely forgot, what pain even is.

It wasn't until another anomaly started to happen, that she got a chance to fight her extreme urges once again. As the gravitational pull gently lifted her and the swamp a few inches up, she blinked multiple times and shook her head.

"Where...am I again ? The Tower...No !"

Qo pressed a few buttons on the digital device that hugs her wrist. She has done this many times – consciously and consciousness.

Gravitational movements are now enabled.

A sharp pain surrounded her wrist and then quickly vanished. Her veins slowly turned into a pitch-black color, like some kind of paint is flowing through them. Qo's instincts sharpened, she could feel every single organ, every single cell in her body. She could see into the far distance without even blinking and could even visualise the levitating gravity around her, like it was some kind of touchable materia.

Like many things, she doesn't know where this device on her wrist came from, nor does she know what exactly this digital wristband does, besides helping her moving through extremely unstable terrain. With the sheer power of her own thoughts, Qo turned around and flew through the unstable gravity, with ease.

The now flying swamp with its brown water was pulled aside by her, like Qo is come kind of puppet master that pulls certain strings. But in her case, this doesn't just include puppets, no, Qo could move every single object with her bare mind.

I need to go as far away as possible !

This damn Tower won't get me !

She doesn't even know why she protested against the Towe, but for her it seemed right. Perhaps it was a mixture of anxiety and the fragments of her remaining character, or maybe, it was just a part of the game, the phenomenon that controlled every single human being.

After what felt like an eternity, Qo's special abilities are coming to an end. Her veins look normal again, and her sight doesn't differ from that of a normal human being – or what she considers a normal human being. She turned around and couldn't see the Tower in the far distance anymore.

"I did it ! I really did it !"

Qo cheered loudly as she was able to withstand the strange pull of the unknown building...for now. But just like the last times she gained control back – sooner or later, the strange power will start to control her mind and body again.

But why be pessimistic if you finally achieved a moment of happiness. Deep down, Qo knew she couldn't win this fight; her body moved greater distances when she was being controlled, compares to the rather tiny distance she could cover while being in control of her own body.

As Qo proceeded to walk further away from the tower, she stumbled into a person that walked directly towards her, with a strange and rather stiff style of walking. It's like only his legs are moving, while his arms and upper body don't move at all.

Qo raised her fists immediately. She can't even explain why, but her expected to be in great danger. She got Goosebumps on her skin and her breathing got quicker and sharper.

"Why am I...?"

Before Qo could even talk to herself, the strange man stood in front of her, watching Qo with his dead and intense stare. His small pupils are glued on every fiber of Qo's body.

"What do you want ? Who are you ?"

The man didn't answer.

"Do you have a name ?"

No matter how hard Qo tried to talk to the stranger in front of her, he doesn't reply. He just stares at her. If Qo takes a step forward, he stumbles backwards. If she walks backwards, he walks forward.

"Is this supposed to be some kind of game ? Pfft." She snarled and clenched her fists aggressively. She knew damn well, that this individual in front of her wasn't quite human. Just like her, this poor soul seems to be controlled by some kind of greater force.

But instead of walking to the Tower, he is solely focused on Qo.

She pushed the man, but his stance was strong and unbreakable. Even as Qo pushed harder, the stranger didn't move an inch.

"Nrgh ! What the fuck ?!"

Fueled by her temper and her inability to feel empathy towards the man, Qo raised her fist and punched the man in his face. His face gets knocked back and turned towards the side.

"It moved..." The woman mumbled to herself and started to flinch back, the moment she realised what was happening...

The unknown man opened his mouth widely and screamed. He screamed at the top of his lungs, she could hear how his vocal cords are vibrating. Her perplexity soon got overshadowed by a sense of fear; something inside her is responding to this strange scream.

Her mind goes blank and her eyes felt really heavy. Everything that Qo saw was suddenly extremely bright and painful to watch. It was like she would stare directly into the sun. She closed her eyes and...
