The youngest smacked her hand on Diane's neck telling her to raise her head harshly.
Diane hastily raised her head to look at Kendrick, to his utmost surprise. Diane was in the most horrible state that he didn't expect her to be.
Her clothes were tattered and her hair was disheveled and stinky. Her face was covered with dirt as well. Kendrick couldn't help but be disgusted.
Matt, sensing his boss' disgust , told him to head out. He asked the family to bring Diane to the living room where they would question them.
The family did as they were told. They pushed her to the floor and were about to take a seat themselve, but they received Kendrick's cold glare the next minute.
"You are no less than a criminal, go on your knees." He ordered his intense gaze never leaving them.
They all waveree at his threat, they went on their knees in front of him begging for mercy.
Kendrick started, "How did she become a member of this village?"
