Matt drove in the southern direction. The drive to Bowral was about an hour and a half. They had been driving for almost an hour now without interruption, but when it was just a little time to get to their destination, Kendrick instructed Matt to go back home.
Matt couldn't refuse the order he was given, he went back without any question. He sped up the car so that they could leave for Bowral again that same day.
Kendrick got out and walked into the house. Zephyrine was nowhere to be seen inside the living room and moreover he wasn't there for Zephyrine. Straight into the bedroom to get his clothes.
Why did he go back just because of clothes? He could buy some when they arrive at the village later today.
Zephyrine laid on the bed, seeming asleep, but when Kendrick was about to stand up to leave the house again. She woke up, "Where are you off to again? I know you are angry, just let out your anger on me already."
