Commissioner Johnston exited the resort and at the entrance of the resort awaited a young police officer with a dog calmly looking at the resort. Commissioner Johnston acknowledged the dog and took hold of the leash and led the dog towards the beach.
The K9 dog was so obedient, it listened to Commissioner Johnston's word and responded with some small actions.
"We need you in solving this case. It might be a crucial one that you've never witnessed before, but you must do your best, Duke."
Duke licked Commissioner Johnston's hand as a way of showing that it heard and was willing to help. Duke was from the Labrador retriever breed. Labs are often used for narcotics detection due to their strong sense of smell and high intelligence.
