When Jane had contacted Henry few days ago, she explained that she had returned to Iris city, and they could begin her part of his training.
She had accepted to teach Henry little martial arts and skills on using whatever weapon he wanted.
Now they both stood on opposite sides of a wide field, about to have a little spar
"Alright, Xavier tells me you're fast, i want to see how fast," Jane began, retrieving a black dagger from her storage ring
Henry also took out his sword and got into a fighting stance
"Activate dash," he muttered

Henry took a step and immediately disappeared from his spot, moving with incredible speed across the field to Jane's spot
His time perception kicked in and he raised his sword, about to strike her exposed shoulder, everything was slow and still, but all of a sudden it wasn't, his perception skill ended just as fast as it had begun
He noticed this and quickly brought down his sword, but it was suddenly stopped by a strong force. Jane had caught the blade
Jane chuckled "That was indeed fast and very precise, i must say, you have abnormal speed for an ordinary human," she said, holding the blade of Henry's sword which was centimeters away from cutting her shoulders
Henry was dazed for a bit, the time perception hadn't worked on her, she was faster than the his dash and her grip on Henry's blade was incredibly strong. He couldn't budge it out of her two fingers
She smiled and pushed the the blade slowly, bringing the sword along with Henry's arm down. Henry retracted the sword with a smile
"Wow, i didn't know aunt Jane was so strong," he said
"Oh I'm plenty strong, but I think you could do better, i didn't even need to use my dagger. But i sense you are a bit good with the sword, so why don't we begin with daggers," Jane replied
Henry nodded and returned the sword back to the storage ring, while also retrieving the red dagger
Jane had a look of satisfaction as she smiled
"Good, now remember, the dagger is a short close combat weapon that must be used with both precision and agility, you must hold it in a....
She continued giving instructions to Henry, explaining how to execute a direct kill with a dagger
Henry nodded in understanding, while also thinking of certain things
"Man, i hope i can learn from her, i didn't know she was this strong, Xavier said her ability was enhancing weapons and she was S rank but... hmm why don't I just check her stats," Henry thought before using his inspect skill to check Jane's info

"It all make sense now, the Identity, the respect, the wealth... the insane strength. Jane is the daughter of Evelyn Carter, the Amazon queen," he muttered to himself, still surprised at the discovery
Evelyn Carter also known as the Empress or 'Queen of the Amazons, is the leader of Gaea nation and the Amazon faction. She is the number one strongest person in the world and her family; the carters were one of the most respected family
Henry had seen the name of her daughters, as they were also ranked on the strongest powerhouses in the world, but he hadn't seen their pictures.
According to what he learnt, Jane was a twin, she had two abilities of which one was the power to enhance the grade of an item, but the other was kept a mystery from even the media.
The entire Carter family were known for their immerse strength, as every children and grandchildren of the empress were said to have been born A ranked, with each having two abilities or more.
To put it simply, they were incredibly strong, with each of them possessing one elemental ability or the other, and their stats were always exceptional compared to other mana celled humans of even the same rank
"That explains Alicia's high stats, even as a techno she has insane strong and speed," Henry thought as he further stared at Jane, who was now showing him various ways to strike an opponent
The Amazon queen was a powerhouse on her own, she possessed godlike strength, earth abilities along with energy manipulation and projection, although nobody knew what kind of energy it was she used. She was one of the only five known people in the world that possessed 3 abilities.
It was said that she had enough strength to lift 250,000 tons. She was a terrifying being and was in some places referred to as a true Amazon
Jane and her sister were also strong but unlike her sister Jane didn't possess an elemental type ability, so instead trained more on her ability and is now powerful enough to enhance items to a higher grade at the same time can also degrade them.
But she didn't stop there, Jane learnt 25 different martial arts, while also learning how to use almost every kind of weapon the world had to offer. Thereby earning her the title 'Goddess of martial arts'
"Damn, Xavier wasn't joking when he said she was the best martial artist in the world, she's incredible," Henry thought with little admiration.
"I'm not so surprised that a powerhouse gets to train me, afterall I've got one for a mother," he muttered remembering Felicity's many abilities, that even the media couldn't explain.
"But that means she truly has a second ability, i just can't see what it is. Hmm, and her age is also unexpected, i wonder how old mother truly is," Henry chuckled
Jane taught Henry more on the use of a dagger, before later teaching him on the basis of karate. They trained for a while before Jane decided to call it a day.
She drove Henry back to the hotel in her hovercar, claiming that he had to be to tired to walk
Henry got down from the car, he was staring at Jane with gratitude and respect, he didn't not trust her yet but He definitely liked the woman.
Jane noticed his stare
"What's wrong," she asked with concern "You've been acting differently with me all day, is it be of my daughter?"
Henry jerked back "What! no, not at all, i recently just discovered your real identity is all," he said with a wry smile
Jane laughed "Really? Is that all?" she asked to which Henry nodded
"Well, i used the last name marshall for a little bit confidentiality, not everyone recognizes me in my new look, so why not take the advantage," she said with a wink
"Huh? What does she mean by new look?" Henry wondered
"Besides, nothing's changed to me, you always be the sweet boy i met in the forest," she added with a reassuring smile. If only she knew of Henry's... deeds.
Henry smiled awkwardly "Looks like Xavier hasn't told her... or my mum yet?" he thought, noting that he hadn't received a call from Felicity since that day. Though he had no idea if that was a good sign.
"Besides, have you met your mother, she's more terrifying than i am," Jane replied with a chuckle
"Alright, then I won't act differently around aunt anymore," Henry said with a smile
"Good boy, now run along, tomorrow we'll be training non-stop and I'll probably take you through the easiest techniques of karate," she said
"I'm looking forward to that," Henry said waving at Jane before she took off
He entered the hotel and went to his suite, he already had lunch at Jane's place, so he just layed on the bed, bored and lost in thought
"Hey Miley, you there?" Henry asked, not hoping much for an answer.
Miley had been speaking less to him lately, she never striked conversations anymore and rarely answered Henry, still upset with his recent behavior
[What is it] She replied, much to Henry's surprise
"Thank goodness you responded today. I wanted to ask, why couldn't I see Jane's stat?"

"Hmm, that's true. But I could read Alicia's, does that mean my perception would affect her?" he asked again
[Not quite, as long as she's faster than you, it won't work]
"Hmm i see, so I really cannot defeat her. Sigh... i have to find a way, but hell this girl is faster than mach 2, how am I supposed to tame her," Henry pondered, knowing since he couldn't bear to kill her, he just had to tame the little brat.
"I'll have to get stronger quick, i don't like being controlled," he muttered with a frown, remembering certain events of his past life
[Well, good luck with that] Miley stated in an indifferent tone
"And exactly how long do you plan to stay mad at me?"

Henry chuckled, he was contemplating about going to the hunting ground, the sun was still out, but he was a bit exhausted, so he chose not to, in the end
"Hmm that does make me wonder, those guys i killed, the time perception worked on them, which makes them slower or weaker than me. But an average mana cell human should be stronger and faster than i am. That means they didn't have mana cells, so how do they have abilities?" Henry pondered long and hard
"Oh well, it's not my problem, it's Triad's," he shrugged the thought off
He turned on his bracelet, about to browse the internet, when a message popped up on the bracelet holographic screen.
[Meet me at the bar]
It was a message from Xavier
Henry smiled "About time he showed up," he muttered before leaving the suite and heading towards the hotel's bar. He didn't have any problem getting there as he had visited the place quite often.
