Before Angel's silent ambush, in the afternoon, inside an criminal organization headquarters situated in Bryndar's slums. The people that harbored ill intentions against Angel due to his traits similar to nobles, caused a misunderstanding which lead to them to report it to their leader.
"A noble you say... Why would those haughty nobles arrive in Bryndar? If they have, a report should've arrived before they entered Bryndar.", a man named Umbra said.
"We are telling the truth, lord Umbra. That man possessed silver white hair and had eyes as green as a gem.", the man said, kneeling down.
"If it is indeed true... Bring your men, and hand him over to me alive.", Umbra ordered.
At the present, Angel stood up from his bed and let his spiritual pressure bring down the hiding assassins.
"I-I can't stand up!", the man said.
As Angel exits his room, to the hallway where the assassins are being pressed on with his pressure, his chilling presence distorted his appearance from the assassin's sights.
Angel grabbed the head of the nearest one and crushed it, along with swallowing it's soul from it's body. The assassin at the furthest end of the hallway, watched at the sight of his comrades die at Angel's arms along with chilling scene of their souls exiting through their necks onto his mouth before swallowing.
"Don't come near me!", he cries.
Angel kneeled down as he looks directly at the assassin's eyes. The assassin peered inside Angel's emerald glowing eyes and felt an unimaginable fear. The glow didn't appear from the energy's traits rather it belonged to the souls serving as his energy source.
"Tell me who sent you or-", Angel gets interrupted
"I'll tell!", the assassin cried.
The assassins came from a syndicate situated in Bryndar named "The Argent Circle", lead by a man named "Umbra". It is an fairly influential syndicate that uses Bryndar's trade routes to the other regions of the kingdom even in the Lucenscia empire in order to deliver their illegal made goods using their private farms in Bryndar.
"Seeing the lack of security inside Bryndar compared to security at the borders, I can already guess how they've managed to keep themselves in business.", Angel states.
"Please spare me...", the man cries.
"Sparing you is a waste, thanks to you, I'll reach the third stage of the 1st rate warrior level.", Angel says before standing up.
Angel returned to his room after swallowing the final soul and burning the corpses without disturbing the inn. Angel circulated his internal energy in his body, slightly expanding his dantian and a slight enhancement to his body's power.
"Next, to receive my fifth circle.", Angel declares.
Angel then allowed mana in his body to flow through his nostrils onto his blood vessels all the way to his heart where his other circles are located without colliding with his internal energy flowing in his blood vessels which allows his body to use martial arts, letting it form his fourth circle.
"Done, with this... My magic's destructive power has now risen up and will further amplify my internal energy along with the rise to stage four of the 1st-rate warrior to enhance my martial arts.", Angel states.
"Now then, should I visit the bastard that dared to attack me.", Angel says.
