While Owen was singing, Cinderella found herself surrounded by a group of children her age.
"Hmph, so you're the friend that Jane brought back? You're so annoying! You're just a guest, but you're hogging all of Jane's attention. Now she doesn't even have time to play with us."
"Your clothes are ugly, and you don't have a single piece of jewelry. You must be really poor. Let me tell you, you're not allowed to steal Jane from us!"
"And give us all the things Jane gave you! Those are from our family."
Cinderella frowned.
She was no longer the little girl who allowed others to bully her. If it came to a fight, she wasn't afraid of these kids.
But Cinderella knew she was a guest. Owen had asked Jane to take care of her to help her avoid trouble, so she didn't want to cause any problems. Jane was always with her, but she had stepped away for a moment, and now Cinderella was surrounded.
