"Owen, it's not that I don't trust you, but… are these dishes really edible?" Sadie hesitated, staring at the steaming hot dishes in front of her. The aroma was mouthwatering, but she couldn't bring herself to pick up her fork. The ingredients seemed a bit… strange.
"Don't worry, it's made with duck blood, which is perfectly safe and tasty," Owen explained. "First, I simmered wine, peppercorns, and aged ginger over low heat with peas to create the broth. Then I added the duck blood, eel slices, cabbage, potato slices, and my special canned meat."
"In my homeland, this dish is called the **Hearty Blood Feast**."
Sadie and Edward both nodded, though they still found the idea of eating blood-based dishes a little unsettling. After all, only the mythical blood clans were said to enjoy blood in their meals.
