Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Husband Comes Back with his mistress

"One more time?"

The man's voice was deep and pleasant.

It was husky, laced with an unquenched desire, possessing a bewitching power.

Jiang Ciyou glanced at the floor, where lace lingerie was tangled with a torn dress and high heels rolled under the sofa.

All of it spoke of the recent intensity and madness.

"No, I'm tired," Jiang Ciyou refused.

This man's stamina was indeed getting better.

Just a moment ago, she had almost cried out for mercy.

That said, her little hand still mischievously groped his solid abdomen.

The man caught her unruly hand.

His voice was filled with unmet desire, yet still magnetic: "Don't tease, I might not be able to hold back."

Jiang Ciyou smiled.

Her face, already captivating, lit up; her dark eyes sparkled like stars, her red lips like flames. A cascade of thick black waves fell against her snow-white back, making her skin appear as smooth as cream. The corner of her petal-red lips curled lazily, revealing a small beauty mark by her eye.

That smile was enchanting, almost like a modern-day Daji.

The man looked at the woman in his arms, lazy like a cat, feeling an overwhelming impulse to ravage her once more.

"Don't be so stingy. If you can't touch me anymore, I'll miss it."

Jiang Ciyou continued to smile.

But suddenly, the man's expression froze, and his face darkened.

"What do you mean?"

Jiang Ciyou tossed aside the thin blanket and quickly got dressed.

Then she took out a check from her bag and walked over to the man.

"Darling, here's five million as compensation, and of course, this villa is yours too."

She placed the check in his hand.

But the man showed no sign of joy at the enormous gift.

"Jiang Ciyou, are you trying to break up with me?" His voice was terrifyingly deep.

He was clearly suppressing his anger.

Jiang Ciyou remained calm and composed.

Gently holding his chin, she planted a kiss on his lips: "My husband is back, and it's not convenient for me to play around anymore. Let's end it here."

The man's expression grew even darker.

Jiang Ciyou pecked his beautiful lips again: "Be good. If you encounter difficulties in the future, you can still call me."

With that, she stood up, grabbed her bag, and walked out of the room.

Just a couple of steps away, she heard something shatter behind her.

Jiang Ciyou didn't stop.

She could only smile helplessly.

After three years of raising him, there was no genuine affection, only a semblance of it. This sudden, cliff-like breakup was indeed hard to accept.

Exiting the villa, Jiang Ciyou drove straight to the airport.

Her husband, Yan Feng, had been abroad with his mistress for three years. Now, unable to withstand family pressure, he was finally back.

"Jiang Ciyou, although we were childhood sweethearts and dated for two years, I have no feelings for you."

"I only like Xia Ling. If it weren't for Grandpa's pressure, I would never have married you."

"I won't touch you; that's my promise to Xia Ling."

"I can only give you the title of Mrs. Yan. If you can't stand being alone, feel free to find a boyfriend. I won't interfere, but you also can't interfere in my relationship with Xia Ling."

These were Yan Feng's words on their wedding night.

Even though three years had passed, she remembered every single word clearly.

The Jiang family and Yan family had a great relationship, with three generations of heads being close friends. By Jiang Ciyou's generation, the Jiang family had a daughter, while the Yan family had a son, so they arranged a marriage for them from birth.

To cultivate their relationship, they were made to play together as children, even alternating stays during holidays.

Their relationship had always been good, and they naturally began dating in college.

Until Xia Ling intervened.

Ironically, it was Jiang Ciyou who pushed Yan Feng towards Xia Ling.

Xia Ling was their high school classmate.

She came from a poor family, was shy, yet excelled academically as the only student from a humble background accepted into their prestigious school.

Like a little white rabbit entering an arena, she was often bullied by the proud elite.

Jiang Ciyou helped her repeatedly, even fighting for her.

They became the best of friends in high school.

Later, they both got into the same university.

As Jiang Ciyou's high school "best friend," Xia Ling was naturally familiar with Yan Feng.

But at that time, nothing hinted at a future together.

During the summer vacation of their sophomore year, Jiang Ciyou and Yan Feng signed up for a summer camp organized by the school.

Just before they were set to leave, Jiang Ciyou sprained her ankle and gave her spot to Xia Ling.

Neither of them wanted to go, but Jiang Ciyou insisted Yan Feng go to take care of Xia Ling, fearing she might be bullied.

As he took care of her, they ended up together.

That summer, Jiang Ciyou faced her greatest setback.

Jiang Xiaoxiao had returned.

In her darkest moment, Yan Feng suddenly broke up with her, saying he wanted to be with Xia Ling.

She couldn't bear the blow.

She attempted to take her own life.

Surviving only led to unexpected turns of events.

Yan's parents were heartbroken; after all, they had watched her grow up as their future daughter-in-law.

Old Master Yan even threatened Yan Feng with family shares, forcing him to marry her.

But less than two months later, he applied for an exchange program at Yale and went to the U.S.

Of course, Xia Ling went with him.

Three whole years…

The car soon stopped outside the airport.

Jiang Ciyou quickly returned to the present.

Today was Old Master Yan's request for her to pick up Yan Feng.

Jiang Ciyou looked at her watch.

Just on time.

She raised her head and spotted Yan Feng pushing a suitcase out of the airport terminal.

He was wearing a white shirt and black trousers, handsome and poised, with the elegance of a young aristocrat in every move.

But his gentle face darkened the moment he saw Jiang Ciyou.

Jiang Ciyou smiled, opened the car door, got out, and walked toward him.

"Husband, long time no see. Hope you're well."

Her smile was bright and radiant.

With her background in broadcasting, her voice was naturally pleasant, laced with a hint of deliberate sweetness.

It was enchanting, leaving those around her glancing over, secretly envying her husband.

Yan Feng looked at the woman before him, but his brow furrowed deeper.

Today, Jiang Ciyou was stunning, as if she had dressed up just for him.

She looked different from three years ago.

Once innocent and unadorned, she was now meticulously made up, her hair styled in soft waves, dressed in luxury brands, exuding a lazy and affluent air.

"Don't call me husband."

Yan Feng's tone was cold.

He glanced at the woman in a white dress beside him.

Before getting out of the car, Jiang Ciyou had seen her.

Xia Ling had returned with him.

Wearing a loose, pure cotton white dress, Xia Ling had no makeup on, but her small face paired with her naturally shy and innocent eyes remained captivating.

One arm was linked with Yan Feng's, while the other unconsciously rested on her slightly protruding belly.

The gesture couldn't be more obvious.

Jiang Ciyou smiled and asked, "Xia Ling, are you pregnant?"
