Cloves mixed with pine surround me, dizzying me. He's so close that I can feel the heat radiating from his body and claim my own.
The door presses into my back as Eryx crowds my front.
"What do you plan on doing?" I'm gasping for air, and I know Eryx is the one that could help me breathe again. It's almost as bad as the first time when we were in the forest.
"I'm returning the favour," Eryx smirks, lowering his face to my neck. I hiss out where those lips caress my sensitive skin, and his hand curves around my hip.
I want more.
Need more.
More of his touch.
Unlike that night, I know exactly who is touching me now. Yet I do not care. I yearn for him.
It is unsettling how much I do.
My mind still fights him while my body has surrendered already. "I don't need your help," I gasp out and clench my eyes shut at how desperate I sound.
