Hakon is the first to speak, his interest piqued. "How so?"
"These are beings we know nothing about. Both the ones that attacked the village and what attacked us last night at the palace. We need to make peace with Sun and Fury because these attacks are progressively going across the kingdom… What if they are working together?"
Sigurd whistles. "That's a big leap."
"Is it?" Ivar asks darkly, cocking his head to the side before gesturing for me to continue with my train of thought.
"One group distracts the Alpha King and his best warriors, taking him away from the palace… Then they attack the palace…"
"But why?" Sigurd asks.
"That's the big question…" Ivar hits him and then speaks again. "It could be as simple as wanting to take over the kingdom."
