"The third phase, the questions I gave are..."
The examiner's voice trailed off as he glanced around and noticed Hisoka giving him an unsettling smile—one filled with irony and disdain.
He paused, squinting at Hisoka with a confused expression. "That candidate, what is with that expression?!"
Under Ronnel's puzzled gaze, the examiner yelled at Hisoka, seemingly oblivious to the danger that the clown-like man posed.
Ronnel furrowed his brow in disbelief. Is this guy serious? Can't he see how dangerous Hisoka is?
Hisoka's smile grew even wider, splitting across his face. Recognizing the increasing tension, Ronnel slowly began to step back, blending into the crowd. Others, sensing the same danger, did the same.
"Hey! Can't you hear me? That mocking face isn't a part of the—"

Two playing cards, imbued with Hisoka's powerful Nen, sliced through the air before the examiner could react, striking him across the cheek.
"Ah!!"
The examiner screamed, blood gushing from his face as he staggered back.
As Hisoka casually shuffled his deck, Ronnel retreated further, putting a safe distance between himself and the chaos.
The once proud examiner scurried away, covering his face as Hisoka leisurely followed, shuffling his cards without a care. The scene left all the candidates who managed to avoid the attack frozen in shock, jaws agape.
"The examiner being hunted by a candidate... Is the Hunter Association really going to let this slide?"
From the distance, Ronnel spotted a Hunter Association staff member hurriedly dialing someone on their phone, clearly reporting the situation. He couldn't help but smirk a little.
This exam's a joke. Hisoka's gone off the rails, and the examiner's a bloody mess. I might as well take advantage of this and get some compensation from the Hunter Association to prepare for next year's test.
Soon after, while Hisoka was tormenting the examiner on the brink of death, a team from the Hunter Association finally arrived to contain the situation.
It wasn't just any regular team—they'd sent 2 hunters and one of them is Mizaistom Nana, one of the Twelve Zodiacs.
Mizaistom Nana, a two-star crime Hunter and private security company manager, was renowned for his level-headedness. He was also seen as the voice of reason within the non-chairman faction of the Hunter Association.
"Please stop!" Mizaistom said flatly, raising a yellow card toward Hisoka. "Candidate, cease your violent behavior immediately!"
Mizaistom, a strict adherent of law and order, held special authority to deal with violent incidents within the association. Hisoka, in the midst of toying with the examiner, glanced at Mizaistom with a peculiar look, his sinister smile still intact.
After a long, tense pause, Hisoka took a step back, flashing that eerie grin once more. He seemed to murmur, "92 points," as if rating the entire ordeal.
Mizaistom cautiously lowered the yellow card, keeping his guard up as medical staff rushed forward to treat the bleeding examiner and the 20 or so candidates who had been caught in the crossfire.
Other hunter then stepped forward, bowing apologetically to the 22 candidates who remained standing.
"On behalf of the Hunter Association, I sincerely apologize for this unexpected incident. We made a grave error in the selection of our examiners, and for that, I ask for your forgiveness."
The candidates, though still shaken, began to relax, but many of them cast wary glances at Hisoka, who stood idly by, watching the chaos he had caused.
"In order to avoid further delays and as compensation for the mishap, the next test will be the final one," he added with a polite smile.
The crowd's tension eased, but they couldn't help glancing nervously at Hisoka.
Mizaistom, ever vigilant, cut in: "As for Candidate No. 401, Hisoka, due to his violent actions without following proper complaint procedures, he is hereby disqualified from the test."
Hisoka remained expressionless, not the least bit fazed by the announcement.
"But," Mizaistom continued, "considering the association's oversight in this matter, Hisoka's disqualification only applies to this year's exam. He will be allowed to retake the Hunter Exam in the future."
The surviving candidates, still standing, couldn't help but let out collective sighs of disbelief.
