One hour before the game, the venue was full, and the live broadcast had already started. At this time, a lot of spectators gathered on the first floor of Heavens Arena. These were people who hadn't managed to get tickets, so they had to either stand or sit, crowding around various monitors.
In the city, even stores selling TVs had turned on all their screens to broadcast the event, and large displays on the buildings also aired the live stream.
In the broadcast, a female commentator, wearing a pink outfit specially made for Heavens Arena, with a large fist symbol on the front, was holding a wireless microphone, standing at the highest commentary platform. Her enthusiasm was evident as she addressed the audience both in the arena and at home.
Boldly, Huo began explaining to the crowd:
"Look at the audience in the arena! Less than an hour before the match, and it's already packed!"
"Today, we have two martial arts masters with complex backgrounds. Both are Floor Masters of Heavens Arena and have submitted battle applications. They're fighting today so that everyone here and watching at home can witness their clash."
"Both are top representatives of Subai school, one of the world's foremost martial arts schools. The winner of this match will claim the title of the true master of Subai school! Who will emerge victorious? Let's wait and see!"
"Now, before the match begins, let's take a look at some of their past battles!"
As the broadcast shifted to a highlight reel, the enthusiastic commentator put down her microphone and took a sip from her water bottle.
Being a commentator was no easy job. Due to certain unwritten rules, they couldn't talk about Nen to the general public. So, whenever Nen users activated their abilities and performed superhuman feats that defied physics, commentators had to either feign ignorance or come up with creative explanations.
Not every commentator understood Nen, but they were all good at talking their way through it, especially those who could make things sound plausible.
While the girl drank her water, footage of the two Floor Masters' past fights played on the big screen, each dazzling move greeted by loud cheers from the audience.
"As expected of the Floor Masters, their strength is truly remarkable," Ronnel nodded in approval as he watched the impressive displays.
"But..." he added after a pause, his tone shifting.
"While they're strong, there are still flaws in how they use Nen, and plenty of subtle tricks they rely on."
Thanks to his month-and-a-half of training with Bisky, Ronnel's insight had grown considerably. After watching a few of the fights, he had already spotted several weaknesses in the two Floor Masters' techniques.
"You're right," Bisky agreed, sitting beside him.
"Their Nen is powerful, designed specifically for combat, but as fighters, they're nothing special."
With little interest, she shifted her gaze away from the screen.
"Given your talent, it wouldn't take you two years, not even one... half a year at most, and both of them together wouldn't stand a chance against you."
Bisky sighed. "How is it that people of their strength can become Floor Masters at Heavens Arena? The fighters of today are too impatient. One generation is worse than the last. Back in my day, the Floor Masters were all world-class Nen users. Now look at them..."
Her words, coming from her petite and cute form, sounded out of place, as if an elderly person was speaking through a child's body.
"Back then, when I was a Floor Master..."
"Wait, you were a Floor Master?" Ronnel asked, surprised. He had known that Bisky had once been a Hunter Exam examiner for fun, but this was the first time he heard about her time as a Floor Master.
Even Wing, sitting nearby, turned his head in curiosity. It seemed he hadn't known this about Bisky either.
Maybe it was nostalgia or dissatisfaction with the present, but when Ronnel asked, Bisky became more talkative.
"Of course I was! I've done more than that. I even participated in the Battle Olympia and stayed on the 251st floor for a while."
"After gaining some success with my Nen, I came to Heavens Arena to fight, hoping to earn money to buy a gemstone I loved. I climbed all the way past the 200th floor."
"Later, I heard that the Battle Olympia was offering a rare gem as a prize in a lottery. Naturally, I participated, won, and moved to the 251st floor. But after dealing with too much media attention, I gave up my Floor Master position."
Bisky spoke with pride, and Zushi looked at her with admiration.
It was undeniable—this mighty warrior, over 50 years old, had lived an extraordinary life, full of amazing stories.
As Bisky and Wing continued chatting, the lights overhead dimmed, and the big screen flickered. Two strong beams of light suddenly shone from the east and west corners of the ring.
