Chapter 48 - Meeting on the Elysium's Verge (Part 1)

The Straw Hats had spent their final days on Elbaf training intensely under the tutelage of the giants, growing in power to rival the Yonko themselves. Each member of the crew, save for Usopp, who was still trailing slightly behind, had ascended to a new level of strength. Despite this, everyone knew Usopp's mind was unmatched, and with Vegapunk now on their side, his intellect could rival any foe. Elbaf's elite, including the divine giant gods Ymir and Freya, had blessed the crew for their achievements. They had all surpassed the serious might of even the Yonko, with Luffy proving himself worthy of the divine giants' recognition.

The most ambitious project, Pluton, had been completed under Franky and the giants' leadership, powered by the ancient energy source known as the "Motherflame." This energy, combined with sea-prism stone and infused with Haki, made their weapons and creations unimaginably strong. Everything they built was now ready for the coming battles. Saga Haki, a newly mastered form of internal destruction, was now part of the Straw Hats' arsenal, making them nearly invincible in the face of the coming war.

In a grand ceremony, Ymir and Freya (another Giant goddess) gathered their divine ranks to bless Luffy with the Blood of the Giants. The ritual, steeped in tradition and power, acknowledged Luffy as their equal in strength. As the giants chanted their ancient hymns, the sky seemed to shift with energy, and Luffy, standing at the center, was imbued with the divine might of the giant race. The rest of the crew received blessings tailored to their unique strengths, granting them unprecedented abilities and amplifying their Haki to new heights.

Elsewhere, Shanks, preparing for the upcoming clash, sailed toward Elysium's Verge, the island before Laughtale. Dragon, too, made his way to the island, understanding the gravity of the situation. The world stood on the edge of chaos, as the most powerful forces began converging for what would be the greatest battle in history. Vegapunk, who had accompanied the Straw Hats since Egghead, released a final message to the world as he "faked" his death, fooling the World Government into believing he had perished.

Vegapunk's message, broadcast globally, sent shockwaves through the world. His calm voice carried the weight of centuries-old truths, as he began to reveal the darkest secrets of the Void Century, truths that had been hidden for too long.

"Citizens of the world," his voice echoed across the seas, "I am Vegapunk, and I have died. But before I leave, you must know the truth. The history you've been taught is a lie. The world you know was once a single, united land before the oceans rose, drowning entire civilizations. Joyboy, the Warrior of Liberation, was real, and the Void Century was when the world was torn apart. The Ancient Kingdom, a beacon of freedom, fought against those who wished to control it—the 20 Kings who formed the World Government."

He continued, revealing the darker, more terrifying truth: "Someone sits on the Empty Throne, ruling in the shadows. This person has controlled the world for centuries, manipulating events from behind the scenes. But now, the Sun God Nika has returned, and with him, the spark of liberation. Joyboy is among the living once again, and his name is Luffy! The world will change. Those of you who wish for true freedom must choose a side. The time for oppression is over."

As his message played, it spread across the globe, reaching even the heart of the Marines. Soldiers who had devoted their lives to the government now questioned everything. Fleet Admiral Akainu, along with the Admirals Fujitora and Greenbull, were left speechless. They could no longer hide the truth from their forces. Even Garp, Tsuru, and Sengoku, icons of the old guard, were shaken by the revelations, deciding to finally switch sides. The announcement fractured the Marines, with many defecting to join the revolution.

Back on Elbaf, the Straw Hats finished their preparations and set sail for Elysium's Verge. As they left the island, EMET, the ancient robot from the Void Century, sat with Luffy and explained what he knew of Imu and the rulers of the world. Though his knowledge was limited, EMET shared that Imu was no mere mortal, but a being of immense power who had survived through the ages, orchestrating the downfall of the Ancient Kingdom. Luffy listened intently, absorbing everything EMET had to offer.

Luffy turned to his crew. "It's time."

The winds shifted, and the Thousand Sunny, filled with newfound energy, cut through the waters towards the island where the world's fate would be decided. The crew knew that the battle ahead would be like nothing they had ever faced before, but with the blessings of the giants and their unstoppable new powers, they were ready.

As they sailed, their bounties were raised yet again, a testament to their growing threat to the World Government:

Luffy: 5,900,000,000 berries, Sora and Zoro: 1,900,000,000 berries each, Jinbei: 1,750,000,000 berries, Robin: 1,600,000,000 berries, Franky and Brook: 1,000,000,000 berries each, Nami: 1,000,000,000 berries, Chopper: 900,000,000 berries, Usopp: 850,000,000 berries

The Straw Hats were now not only Yonko-level in strength but had solidified their positions as true forces of nature. With Luffy leading them, the world braced for the storm that was coming.

At Elysium's Verge, the air was thick with tension. The final battleground was set, and the Straw Hats, armed with knowledge, power, and the will to fight, were ready to take on the might of the World Government. The war for the future of the world was about to begin.

The winds of change now became virtually unignorible Tornados which promise the Destruction and extinction of the old order and the replacement of a new order, who will make history, who will win, who will become justice and guide the World into a new age?

Now at the Verge of a terrible War, preparations are being made at the fastest speeds imaginable, See you at the Elysium's Verge...
