I gazed at Lyra's metrics, my eyes scanning the various bars and numbers. I had no idea what any of it meant, but I was determined to learn.
I looked around at the other students, seeing similar metrics floating above their heads.
I saw Lila's metrics, and my eyes widened in surprise. Her Affection Level was already at 20/100, and her Respect Level was at 10/100. I had no idea what I had done to earn her respect.

I looked at Astrid's metrics, and my eyes widened in surprise. Her Respect Level was at 30/100, and her Trust Level was at 10/100. This was unexpected, and I wondered what had led to this.
As I continued to gaze at the metrics, I realized that I had a lot to learn. I had no idea how to increase the levels, or what the different metrics meant. But I was determined to figure it out.
