Professor Vex smiled warmly as Kaidën approached. "Welcome, Kaidën Blackwood," she said, her voice friendly and approachable. "I'm Professor Vex, and I'll be one of your instructors this year."
Kaidën nodded politely, his eyes scanning the room with a hint of mild interest. "Thank you, Professor Vex," he said, his voice neutral and unassuming.
As Professor Vex handed Kaidën his student ID and other necessities, she smiled warmly and said, "Welcome to the Eridorian Academy of Magic, Kaidën. "

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the last student was called to the podium. Professor Vex smiled warmly as she handed out the final student ID and dorm room assignment, and then turned to the students with a warm smile.
"Now, I'd like to explain something, we have provided everyone with device" She was holding a small, intricately designed watch, and the students leaned in to get a closer look.
"I know that some of you may not be familiar with the concept of timekeeping, so let me explain. A watch is a device that allows you to keep track of time, and we have provided each of you so that you can use to keep track of your schedule. This device can be merged with your student ID to create a unique pendant."
The students leaned in, their eyes wide with excitement and curiosity.
A girl with curly brown hair, raised her hand.
"Um, how do we merge them?" she asked.
Professor Vex smiled. "Ah, good question. To merge the devices, simply hold the watch and student ID together and focus your magic on them. The devices will do the rest."
The students nodded, eager to try it out. They held their watches and student IDs together, focusing their magic on the devices. Suddenly, the devices began to glow.
As the devices glowed, the hall was filled with a soft, pulsing light. The students' eyes widened in wonder as they gazed at their watches, marveling at the intricate map that had appeared on the face. The map seemed to be a layout of the Eridorian Academy of Magic, with various buildings, classrooms, and landmarks marked.
Eryndor too, was fascinated by the device. He held his watch and student ID together, feeling a strange tingling sensation in his fingers as the magic took hold. As he focused his energy, the devices began to glow, and the map appeared on his watch face.
He couldn't help but feel a sense of surprise. He had never wrote of something like this in the outline. .
The map seemed to be interactive, with various symbols and markings that he didn't recognize. He touched the screen, and the map zoomed in on a particular building, it was the building he was currently at, it was shoeing his location.
"Attention, students!" Professor Vex called out, her voice rising above the murmurs of excitement. "Now that you've all successfully merged your devices, I'd like to explain the various uses of this unique pendant."
The students leaned in, their eyes fixed on Professor Vex as she began to explain.
"Firstly, as you've already discovered, the pendant allows you to navigate the academy's grounds with ease. The map on your watch face will always show your current location, making it impossible to get lost."
She paused, surveying the room to ensure everyone was paying attention.
"Secondly, the pendant will alert you to any important announcements or events happening within the academy. You'll receive notifications on your watch, so you'll never miss a crucial lecture or meeting."
Eryndor, still marveling at the device, couldn't help but think about how this was all so new to him. He had never written about a magical academy with such advanced technology.
"Thirdly," Professor Vex continued, "the pendant will allow you to track your schedule and assignments. You'll receive reminders about upcoming deadlines and exams, ensuring you stay on top of your work."
As she spoke, the students nodded eagerly, their faces lighting up with excitement.

The students nodded, their eyes fixed on their pendants as they accessed the dorm map.
"Notice that your room number is displayed on the pendant, along with the location of the common rooms, study areas, and other facilities," Professor Vex said. "You can also use the pendant to communicate with your dorm mates, or to request assistance from the dormitory staff."
As she spoke, the students began to explore their pendants, tapping on various icons and menus to learn more about their new tools.
"Now, I know some of you may be wondering how to recharge your pendants," Professor Vex said, anticipating their questions. "The pendants are enchanted to recharge themselves using your own mana. As long as you have a sufficient amount of mana, your pendant will remain fully functional."
The students nodded, understanding the concept of mana-based recharging.
"It's also important to note that your pendant is only accessible by you," Professor Vex added, her expression serious. "The pendant is attuned to your unique magical signature, and will only respond to your commands. This means that you can rest assured that your personal information and data are safe and secure."
The students nodded, feeling a sense of relief and security.

As he walked, he noticed groups of students chatting and laughing together. Some of them were already forming cliques, while others looked a bit lost. Eryndor didn't really notice, too caught up in his own thoughts.
He finally arrived at his dorm room, a cozy little space with a comfortable bed and a desk. Eryndor dropped his bag onto the floor and sat down on the bed, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. He was finally here, at the Eridorian Academy of Magic.
Meanwhile, in the cafeteria, a group of students were chatting and laughing together. "I'm so excited to start learning magic," one of them said. "I've always dreamed of being a powerful wizard."
"I know, right?" another student replied. "I've heard the professors here are amazing. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm sure we'll all do great."
As they talked, a student with curly brown hair walked into the cafeteria, looking around for a place to sit. She spotted an empty table and made her way over, smiling at the other students as she sat down.
"Hi, I'm Aria," she said, introducing herself. " What about you guys?"
The other students smiled and introduced themselves, and Aria joined in on their conversation.
