He knew he could not be wrong. The rogue werewolf he found in his wife's bedroom was the one he sensed in the field moments ago. But the werewolf still evaded him.
He searched for the intruder, but the rogue seemed to disappear as quickly as he had detected him. It was like the monster was baiting him, playing with him.

Axel questioned, seemingly wondering if it was a coincidence that they were both present when the rogue appeared again.
"I don't know." Xavier had no answer. "But why would a rogue attack Saige?"
