Aurora didn't know how to continue her argument with Xander. He wanted Olivia's fingers as payback, which was a much worse punishment than being charged with assault.
Aurora thought it might have been best to let Liam handle the case instead of letting Xander step in.
"My goodness!" Aurora let out an exasperated sigh as she palmed her forehead. She could already feel an incoming headache.
Instantly, the frown on Xander's brows shifted from deep annoyance to that of worry. "Do you have headaches?" he inquired as he peered at her.
"Just get me out of here and we will talk about the collateral damages on the way," Aurora said as she bypassed him for the car. As soon as she settled in the backseat, Xander shut the door and strolled over to the other side.
"Darling, you are not chopping anyone's fingers," Aurora ordered as she watched Xander secure his seatbelt. "You are not in the warfront."
