As soon as I saw felt two auras behind me, I received this quest. Turning around, I saw how the auras disappeared into the alley.

Zen placed his back against the wall as he held Sakura in his embrace, his heart was beaten loudly. The revenant's stats were off the charts. But there was something eerie he saw in it's profile.
[Condition: Undead(50%), Human(deceased, possible revive, when certain conditions are met)]
"What is this, a boss early into the game?" Zen groaned.
No one answered as Zen tried to sneak a peek outside but he came face to face with an aberrant with an ugly grin.
"F*ck" he cursed as he punched the aberrant whose head immediately exploded into blood.

Zen ignored the prompt as he grabbed Sakura's hand and got up on his feet and began to run deeper into the alley. His killing of the aberrant had caused the other aberrant to move towards where he was.
The aberrants were different from zombies, they were not slow, they could run a bit faster than a human adult.
The revenant walked towards the alley and looked in, he watched the backs of Zen and Sakura. In his vision, they both had red arrows on them.

"Boss, the teenagers have encountered a different kind of aberrant this time" a blonde girl with silver armour and black cloak said as she looked at Sakura and Zen running with her binoculars.
"A different aberrant?" Scarlet asked, "what's different about it?"
"According to the records, it is a revenant, an intelligent aberrant with skills and techniques and the ability to command aberrants" the blonde said.
"A revenant..." Scarlet said as she thought before her eyes widened. "Anna, check amongst the aberrants that are being commanded, are there any aberrants who are much faster than the rest"
"Uh... I don't think... Yes, I see them, they are far different, according to the Oracle records, they are called Quicks, with high attack power and agility, they are aberrant who are meant to kill" Anna said as she felt a shiver go through her spine.
Meanwhile, Zen and Sakura are running, they had killed most of the aberrants that had come towards their direction, but it seems the more they killed, more just kept appearing.

"Huh?" Zen was stunned by the quest, he turned to look at Sakura who looked back at him. "Did you receive a quest tol?"
Sakura nodded. Zen wanted to say something but his danger Sense activated and he immediately pushed Sakura down,dodging a claw that swiped through where his head was just missing his head. If he had been a second later, he would have lost his head.
"Spatial Shift"
Zen and Sakura disappeared and the revenant who had been watching was surprised. He could not feel their living aura anywhere around. His chap lips curled into an ugly smile. "Interesting..."
Meanwhile, about 200 meters away from where the revenant was, inside a room, Zen and Sakura rested just below the window.
He let go of Sakura and peeked out as he looked at the position of where he had been, standing there was an aberrant with silver colored skin, long arms with claws, everything looked human like except for them being bald.
[Quick: a rare type of aberrant, with inclination towards high speed and high attack power. They can act as perfect assassins]
Zen hissed, before he felt something moving in the room he was in. He looked at Sakura who was staring at the refrigerator that was at the corner of the room.
Due to the closed curtains, the sun rays entered through some slits and illuminated the room a little. The refrigerator opened with a low creak. Zen gulped as a katana appeared in his hand, Sakura grabbed unto his cloak.
Suddenly, a pair of bright blue eyes looked out of the refrigerator which stunned both Zen and Sakura. What had emerged from the refrigerator was a child around the ages of five years old. She had blonde hair and wore a grey colored pyjamas.
"Who are you?" The girl glared at the two teenagers who had appeared in her room.
Zen immediately kept the katana back into his space ring, which made the girl's eyes widened.
"How did you do that?" She immediately asked which made Zen who was about to coax her to shut his mouth.
"Ahem... little girl, where are your parents?" Zen asked and the girl's mood dropped.
"I don't know what happened, Mama suddenly began to attack Papa, she... She... She even bit off Papa's hand, then next thing ... Papa had stabbed Mama with a knife... Mama did not stand up again..." The girl said as tears were welling up in her eyes. Sakura walked towards the girl and hugged her.
"It's okay, no need to say anything, we get the gist of what happened" Sakura said as she patted the girl on her back and caressed her hair, making the girl to wail.
"Shh... Don't cry to loudly" Zen immediately said as he looked out the window, "Crap!"
He had seen the revenant look directly at him with a sly smile and he saw as the Quicks immediately rushed towards his location. He saw that there were about ten Quicks.
"Summon, Nyct" Zen called out as a black portal opened above him and Nyct walked out, floated a bit in the air before landing before Zen and kneeling on one knee.
"Nyct is here, Milord"
"No need for formalities, I want you to dispose of those silver aberrants outside, when you're done, take care of the other aberrants... I'll deal with the revenant" Zen said.
"A revenant has appeared?" Nyct was stunned as he immediately stood up and looked out the window. Seeing the revenant, he immediately sighed.
"If you slay that revenant, you would receive an aether skill, yeah?"
"Yes, How do you know that?" Zen asked in surprise.
"No need to ask, as Milord is still too weak, you just need to be careful when dealing with that revenant, he seem to be an acquaintance of yours" Nyct said.
"An acquaintance? " Zen was surprised as he looked at the revenant again. He noticed the earrings on the ears of the revenant.
"Adio?" Zen was stunned.
" I'll go with you" Sakura said as she stood up . The girl stood beside her as she stared at Nyct curiously.
"No, let milord do this himself... If you want to help, you can help by clearing the aberrants around while I deal with the Quicks "Nyct refuted as he turned his ice cold gaze at Sakura.
"But... "
" If you accompany him, you would just be a burden" Nyct said before Sakura could reply.
" Nyct, apologise" Zen suddenly said which caused Nyct to come out to look at him, seeing his light purple eyes, Nyct looked back at Sakura before apologizing.
Sakura did not say anything as she looked downwards, she suddenly felt how weak she was. Zen had always been saving her, she wanted to change that.
She clenched her fists, " Zen, go ahead... I'll slay the surrounding aberrants along with your summon "
Zen was about to reply when a quick crashed into the room from the window on the other side, it claws stretched out towards Sakura and the girl.
