CHAPTER 1
SEPTEMBER 2024
Everyday seems pointless as the rest, I graduated high school to then have a horrible accident that took my mothers life, it left my father devastated, his anger was uncontrollable, he got us in debt, so bad, he had to make a deal with Zeus, If I marry Hades he would give us millions of gold, and I agreed, not because I love my father that much, or because I know my duty, because my sister is dying and need the money to heal, my sister is my best friend, the only person who gets me, It wouldn't be the same without her.
THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING
"DON'T DO THIS" my best friend says while giving me a death stare, "Katerina I have too, I need to do this for my sister" I say lay out my pjs, "Ok fine, but you are coming out tonight, NO, ANDS, NO BUTS, NOTHING, got me." She says standing up pulling me to her and smiling, "One night before im a married woman." I say smiling back, she smiles even bigger and basically runs to my closet and picks out the sexiest thing I own which isn't that sexy, but this is Katherina so she made sure to make it short and revealing.
NIGHT CLUB
The club is packed, me and Katherina are separated with millions of bodies between each other, and the music blaring. Hour has gone by and I'm at the bar, on my 10th shot and 6th cocktail, and I get a text from Katherina, 'Girl I'm getting laid, u should do the same before your stuck with Hades forever..xoxo kat' I put my phone in my purse and laugh it off, I take a shot and turn around and bump into someone "Sorry" I say looking at him, he was tall, handsome, and all I know is I was on fire and I wanted him. "Would you like to get out of here by chance?" Those words slipped out of my mouth and I felt like an idiot, like I just bumped into him, and now I ask to sleep with him, what am I crazy?, "Sure" he says taking my hand, that took me by surprise but, I washed all my thoughts away and left with him.
HOTEL
We smash our lips together, we move our clothes so fast. The next thing I know, we are on the bed, he kisses down my body, the heat is strong and burning for more, he kisses me all over. He comes back up and kisses me, I wrap my arms around him, pulling him close, I feel his erection on my core, I grind on him, wanting, needing more, he enters me in one swift motion and flips up to where I'm on top, and he goes so deep, and he holds my hips moving me on him.
NEXT MORNING
I woke up in an empty bed. I look at the time and see I have two hours till my wedding starts. I rushed to get my clothes on and headed home.
HOME
I walked inside and headed to my room. Once I opened my door, I saw my father, sister and our maids. He scolded me for being late, the maids helped put my dress on and got my makeup done, everyone left and i only had 15 minutes before I have to walk out there and marry Hades. I hear a knock at the door, "Come in" I said flatting my dress out, I see some random women come in "Hello Octavia." she says with a gentle smile, "Hello, do I know you?" I said, she smiles and takes a seat "No you don't, but I knew your mother, she was one of my good friends, but we lost our ways" she says looking me from head to toe, "sorry to hear that, what is it that you need." I say taking a seat, "oh honey I don't want anything, i just wanted to meet you my dear" she says, "nice to meet you?" I say waiting for a name, "Athena" she says, "Athena!" I say standing up and bow, "you don't have to bow, please stand up" she says getting up and coming to me taking my hand and looking at me face to face, "I'm sorry" I say, "you have nothing to apologize for Octavia, let's go before your late." She says wrapping my arm around hers and walking out the room.
WEDDING
Athena was still wrapped around my arm. There I see a man facing his back to me and Zeus in the middle. I look at Athena. "Zeus will bless your marriage." she says. The music starts, we walk down the aisle together, we get to the altar, and she steps behind me as a bridesmaid would. Hades then turns to me. I take a small step back, realizing that Hades, the man I am about to marry, is the same man I shared a bed with last night.
