Madelyn put on her makeup, changed her clothes and stood outside to see Cecilia Hill and Adrian Torres shooting. Cecilia Hill played a well-read and gentle woman who was the daughter of a minister. She and Adrian Torres, who played the prince, were childhood friends. Everyone had identified her as a princess.
"Cut! One shoot!"
The director looked at the result with satisfaction and said to Cecilia Hill, "Take a break. The next scene is that you're being hunted and Adrian comes to rescue you!"
The director looked at Madelyn and said, "Miss Davis, are you ready?"
"Yes, I'm ready."
Madelyn stood on the forest path and heard the director say, "Action!"
