A semi-transperant interface displayed text in front of Zaphyr, Who's never seen such bullcrap before.
"What in the hell..?"
Zaphyr barely had a moment to process what he saw before being hit with a strong senss of nausea, and a sudden injection of information into his consciousness.
-You are being reincarnated as a summonable character.-
-You will be summoned by a Territory Lord of your species as the competition begins, your Territory Lord will have to compete against other Territory Lords of different species, and various different environmental hazards to advance and grow stronger.-
A short summary which made things just a bit clearer was displayed before him, as any sense of shock was automatically cleansed from him.
-You are being summoned-
"Wow."
He couldn't help but Exclaimed in surprise as he suddenly appeared in next to a shining white portal, the skies were bright blue with no clouds, tall trees and faraway mountains consumed the horizon.
Looking around, all he saw was 3 small wooden buildings.
"Beautiful.."
Zephyr uttered as he saw such stunning views for the first time.
In front of him was a tall, young man with raven black hair and blue eyes, he had a relatively Muscular build and wore a simple T-shirt with tattered pants.
The man's gaze pierced deep into him, and also focused on something behind him.
Looking back, he saw he was accompanied by 2 more individuals- a middle-aged man with tanned skin, a brown beard and a shiny bald head was curiously looking around him.
Behind him, a red-haired woman who appeared to be in her late 20's was cautiously inspecting us.
'I guess I'll introduce myself first'
I thought to myself.
"I'm.... Zaphyr"
I said out loud, taking a moment to remember my name- my mediocre introduction exposing my lack of social skills.
"I know."
The dark haired man who I assumed to be the Territory Lord spoke rudely.
"I'll keep it clean, I'm Sylas, I'm a nobleborn Magic swordsman."
He spoke again and mentioned his strange profession.
"I'm glad to have a pyromancer and a farmer for a start... but I don't recall scientist summons being a thing in the guide."
The man spoke coldly and sighed.
"Try to be useful."
He stared at my for a moment before looking away.
"Mira, Pyromancer, 27"
The red haired woman readjusted her clothing and introduced herself coldly.
'Why are these guys so cold?'
I wondered.
"Name's Jonas, 52 years young and a farmer"
The bald man spoke, his words bearing a much warmer tone than the others'.
"Jonas, go get a field going immediately. Mira, scout the environment. Zaphyr, go organize our stuff in the town hall."
Sylas spoke in a commanding tone, and everyone got to work on their tasks immediately.
'Town hall..?'
I looked around at the 3 fragile buildings around and went towards the biggest one I could see.
A sign above the door read -Town Hall-
Going in, I found myself in an empty room with 4 large wooden boxes stacked in the middle of it.
"Urgh"
I tried lifting one of them, but they wouldn't budge.
"Don't bother, just open them and try to organize the contents."
Jonas, the farmer, advised me from the doorstep with a small grin.
"Huh, okay."
I replied and opened the first box, it contained bags full of potatoes and meat, and a barrel of water.
After thoroughly organizing the contents of each box around the room under Jonas' unhelpful gaze, I sighed in relief and wope away the sweat on my forehead.
'This place could really use an AC, like the one the hospital had.'
I thought to myself with an exhausted look.
"Exhuasted just from that? Sure ain't as fit as you seem."
Jonas commented lightheartedly, leaning on the doorframe.
"Maybe help me then instead of watching me, this building doesn't look like it enjoys you leaning on it anyways."
I replied with a salty tone, slightly frustrated.
"Hahaha, calm down there young Buck, my bones are too old for that."
Jonas laughed and threw an easy excuse my way.
"Fine..."
I sighed and walked out with Jonas, looking to see what Sylas and Mira were doing.
Eventually, we spotted them talking next to the portal, both of them wearing serious expressions.
Seeing us approach, Sylas waited until we were in talking range before speaking.
"You guys should know, we suspect there might be a drake around."
