Synopsis
Hello, I am Wrenna Blackwood, and I am the fake wife of a mafia prince. Or so I thought. Wrenna Blackwood is an actress. No, not the 'Lights, Camera, Action' type. A college student with a tiny little side job, pretending to be girlfriend, date-replacement, wife, whatever you pay for. It was going well for her, until she catches the eyes of a mafia prince. Now he wants her. Kaius De Luca. The name is enough to instill fear among the population of Little Cove, a coastal city in the royal country of Eldoria. Fancy cars, huge mansions, and cruise parties, that's what the royal family of Eldoria portrays to the world, but behind the vast barrier of multi-national companies and fancy clubs, lies the dark truth, the mafia business. Wren finds herself in the tangled mess of fake marriage and hidden truths, while being royally entangled with a hot mafia prince, who won't leave her alone. Stay tuned for a steamy mafia romance with a dash of fake marriage and a sprinkle of darkness and mystery.

Chapter 1 - 01.

Wrenna Blackwood:

"Do you Mia Scott, take Oliver Winston as your lawfully wedded husband and vow to be with each other in sickness and health, for worse or for better, till death do you part?" The pastor's voice travels through the tall wooden doors of the cathedral and reaches outside.

"I do." The bride answers gleefully.

"Do you Oliver Winston, take Mia Scott as your lawfully wedded wife and vow to be with each other in sickness and health, for worse or for better, till death do you part?"

There is a small pause before "I-"

"NO!" I shout as I step inside the cathedral. All eyes turn to me including the bride's and groom's. "I object to this marriage." I walk down the aisle towards the couple, ignoring the curious stares of the guests.

"Who are you to interrupt this holy union?" The pastor asks.

I stop at the center and place a hand over my slightly grown stomach over my black maxi dress. "I am the mother of this man's unborn child!" I raise an accusatory hand towards the groom.

The crowd breaks into gasps and whispers.

"How could you!" I scream.

"Lia, I-" The groom's face pales.

"Don't! How could you do this to me, our child Oliver? You promised me a marriage and now you are marrying someone else?" tears now flow freely from my eyes, I move around with pleading eyes towards the guests, "Tell me. Tell me, do you people do not see this injustice in this holy institute?" I sob "My baby! What is its fault?" I cry loudly and the crowd goes berserk.

"What is happening?" Say a lady in pink.

"This is atrocious! He must take responsibility." An older man in a navy tuxedo shouts.

"Everyone please maintains the decorum of this place and keep quiet." The pastor tries to calm the crowd.

"Oliver, I am still willing to forgive you. Just please accept us." I sob "Please Oliver."

"Enough!" Oliver, the groom shouts. He descends from the altar and takes confident steps toward me.

"Oliver-"

"Enough, my lovely Lia." He pulls me into his arms, "I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I will accept you and our child," he places a hand over my stomach "This is our baby, and I love you."

The whole crowd breaks into chaos, people start whispering. The bride gasps loudly and the pastor looks like he would faint.

"Oliver!" The bride, Mia I assume, screams and storms towards me. The moment she reaches me, she raises her hand to slap me, but Oliver wraps me in his arms, shielding me against her.

"Enough Mia! Don't you dare hurt the woman I love." Oliver scolds her "I loved her since the beginning, if it wasn't for you forcing this marriage on me, I would have never agreed to this sham of a wedding."

The crowd gasps.

This is taking too long. I clutch my stomach, "Oliver!" I gasp.

"What happened?" He asks, concerned.

"Oh my God. The baby! I-" I fold in pain as Oliver holds me.

"I am taking her with me. There will be no wedding. I love Lia, and this is the woman who I shall marry." Oliver declares.

He picks me into his arms and walks out of the cathedral, leaving everyone speechless.

And my work here is done.
