Although it wasn't as if Robert was scared of him due to the impact of Seven's unbelievable victory against the best of the Reptile-type students, he was rather appearing to be calculative.
Sure, Seven might have gained a victory which almost everyone predicted to have gone the other side, that doesn't ensure that he would defeat Robert Donwells. Again, he would have to take this opponent as a serious one just like he had done in the last game… He knew really well that underestimating Robert wouldn't be a great combat factor, even after using the Inspect skill on him.
