Chapter 10 - Starless Six-legged Jaguar

Seven was stunned away after Rolanda's introduction, but he tried not to show it. Receiving a slight handshake from her, he withdrew his right hand with a nod.

"Nice to meet you, Rolanda," he hesitated and said.

"It's my pleasure," Rolanda stared complicatedly and replied.

"Alright then! You guys would have to come with me so I can show you both your study spot. We don't have much time left since the semester already began," Miss Brie said.

Both Seven and Rolanda nodded after hearing what she said, and they went ahead to get dressed in the appropriate university uniform for Cat-type Vanquishing students. This uniform was specially newly created for the course, as there was initially no Cat-type Vanquishing course in the university.

The uniform had a white hue on the shirt, while the lower wear was brownish. Rolanda wore a blouse of white top and a straight brown skirt that slightly covered her knees.

When they were done with the preparation, they both followed Miss Brie to the learning spot. They got past several buildings where they noticed many students inside... They were visibly receiving teachings from their lectures, as loud words of explanation echoed around.

Seven was pretty interested in looking around, but Rolanda only lowered her gaze to the ground as they walked. He seemed to be a silent person as Seven had noticed, since she wouldn't utter a word or stare around while she walked.

Although that was the least of what Seven was amazed of, he really wanted to know something about her.

'Why is the daughter of the Iron-fisted Emperor in Black Star University???'

Seven wondered as he thought wide about it.

The Iron-fisted Emperor is one of the strongest Vanquishers who had ventured into the Badlands and dominated many lands. The Iron-fisted Emperor, also known as Emperor Draco Wenzel had conquered many kingdoms in the Badlands, vanquished many powerful Vessels, and made a huge name for himself.

He could be considered one of the strongest men in the entire Terraverde as the Wenzel family is known to be ranked in the top 50 in the overall Global Family Ranking.

Now, for what f**king sake is his daughter doing at Black Star University???

Seven heaved a sigh and decided to stay calm. He surely needed to be closer to her to be able to question her for that, but in the meantime, he had to focus more on learning a few things from the lecturer to gain knowledge of how to make Whisky grow faster.

After a few minutes walk, they finally approached a building somewhere in another corner of the university. The building was pretty large and wide, but there were traces of agedness around. No matter how it was cleaned and arranged, it still appeared old and...

Dirty...

In this large room were two tables, a few chairs, and a large board placed on the wall ahead. This was unlike the top universities that taught students with flat-screen TVs; it was a blackboard that required white chalk for writing.

Ignoring all the pictures, Seven and Rolanda followed Miss Brie into the learning room.

"This would be your study hall for now. The university authority promised to improve the facilities if the Triple Order Government listened to their requests. For now, this is just all we've got," Miss Brie said with a smile as she glanced at both Seven and Rolanda.

Seven nodded with a forced smile almost immediately, but Rolanda didn't show any response, although Miss Brie didn't mind.

"Alright. One more thing," Miss Brie added and approached a door at the other side of the room.

Seven and Rolanda followed suit immediately.

After she approached the door, Miss Brie grabbed the handle and pushed it open. Then she gestured to Seven and Rolanda to follow her through it, leading them to a large space outside the large room that was way too wide to be called a balcony.

There, a large space could be noticed, containing several shrubs and grasses all around. The fact that there were shrubs and grasses on certain sides signified that it wasn't a balcony even though this place was somehow, connected to the building.

There were three chairs and two tables in here as well, but the aura was entirely different from the main, large room.

"Here, we would come over to do some hunting practicals, teaching your pets how to hunt skillfully and safely," Miss Brie enlightened as they walked in.

Seven and Rolanda nodded this time.

Miss Brie then nodded and walked over to a chair in one corner and sat.

"Now, can I take a look at your Vessels?" With a smile, she asked.

Her gaze landed at Seven at first, signifying that she would like to see his at first. With a slight nod, Seven summoned Whisky from the Vanquishing Space.

That moment when the lecturer noticed the small cat, her eyes broadened a little.

"A Golden-horned Silver-furred Cat! That's pretty rare," she commented while she stood up and approached Whisky.

Whisky only stood like a statue and watched Miss Brie approach it.

"It's having an Evolving Aura already, how come?" Miss Brie asked when she got close.

"Well, it killed a Double-tailed Lizard on our way from the base where I vanquished it. And it had an Evo Unit," Seven explained.

Although he lied. Whisky actually gained two Evolution Units from slaying that Red Double-tailed Lizard, but he used his "Share" Skill to collect one of them, using the 50-50 law.

"Hmm, that's impressive I must say. I can sense a bright future with this Vessel. You just have to work hard... Both of you," the lecturer was referring to Seven and Whisky.

After observing Whisky for a while, she moved to Rolanda and requested for her Vessel. Without hesitation, Rolanda summoned her Vessel from her Vanquishing Space, drawing the attention of Seven at that instant.

At that moment, a brown Six-legged Jaguar emerged, its eyes as blue as the ocean. Just like Whisky, this Jaguar seemed to possess vibrant eyes that shone like the moon, claiming the glory of its admiration.

"A Brown Six-legged Jaguar! That's pretty cool," the lecturer praised, amazed.

"I never expected such rare Cat-type Vessels from you both... This is amazing!" She had an excited smile on her face as she spoke.

However, at that time, Seven had been carried away by what his pet was spilling out in his head.

MEOW!

"Why is she so happy to see that Jaguar? I could kill it in a second!"
