Ray took a slow step forward, and the demon recoiled back as if struck. His movements were deliberate, yet the pressure radiating off him was something entirely different from before it was suffocating.
"Hm, are you scared?" Ray asked innocently tilting his head to the side. He took another step closer towards the demon.
Another step forward, flames began to swirl around Ray's right hand, gathering with an intensity that made the air around him shimmer. The fire wasn't like before—it burned brighter, hotter, almost alive, as if responding to the raw emotion coursing through him.
"You, a demon... scared! Haha it's almost comical."
His steps were slow, deliberate, each one carrying a weight that seemed to press down on everyone present as he said these words as chuckled.
Another step forward, and arcs of crackling purple lightning began to dance around Ray's left hand.
