As the alarm rang, I woke up to the soft glow of the morning sun streaming through the curtains, its ethereal golden-orange rays spilling into the room.
Stretching briefly, I made my way to the bathroom. The door clicked softly as it opened, and a few minutes later, I stepped out. Donning fully in my academic uniform i was ready to move.
Before heading to the cafeteria, I didn't forget to tend to my egg. Placed snugly on its cushion, it greeted me with the same voracious appetite it had since day one.
