In the academy, factions hold the true reins of power, as only they are eligible to participate in the Student Council elections. Yet, I had absolutely no intention of joining anyone's faction. Honestly, the whole ordeal bored me. So, let's leave that topic behind, shall we?

At this point, I had already tossed the novel's plotline out the window. It was completely messed up anyway, and I was definitely not the kind of person to blindly follow rules.
