Rick came out of his hotel room in the town to take in the sceneries around. Full streets were lined up by energetic vendors, vibrant signs, and a whole melange of people coming from different realms. This is a city that survives because of trade and adventure; and as Rick walked about, he noticed a great grand building with a signboard above it that said, "Adventurers' Guild."
Rick desires to travel the Nexus Realm, gathering knowledge, power, and alliances along the way. He, however knows that he will not be able to do it alone; he needs to gather a core of adventurers who share the same ambition, as well as the skills to face whatever is waiting for them along the road.
Inside is lively, full of adventurers with quests to discuss, tales to share, and next steps to take. Rick makes his way to the front desk where a large fellow guild member waits for him.
Rick:
"I am seeking to join a party to adventure with. I possess skills that would be of value to the party and would have fun exploring the Nexus Realm.".
"Welcome! Several groups are recruiting members. Let me introduce you to some of our guild leaders."
As Rick waits, he finds a beautiful woman with silver hair, sitting at a table, with several adventurers. She's attractive, confident, and mysterious in some way. She is in sleek, dark armor, so detailed and full of intricate designs, that it seems she is trying to strategize for some kind of quest.
Feeling curious, Rick has decided to approach her. He wanted to know more about her.
"Excuse me, mind if I join you? I'm looking to travel and heard you might be assembling a team."
Silver-Haired Woman:
(looking up with piercing, silver eyes)
"I'm Elara. We're planning a journey into the wilderness beyond the city to retrieve a rare artifact. Are you skilled in combat?"
Rick:
"More than skilled. I've had… experience in various forms of power. I can hold my own."
Elara:
(smiling slightly)
"Experience can be an asset, but it comes with its challenges. What's your true goal here?"
Rick:
(pauses)
"I'm seeking power, knowledge and maybe even redemption for what has been done in the past. I want to uncover the depths of the Nexus Realm and understand its secrets."
Elara:
(sensing the complexity in Rick's tone)
"Redemption? That's a heavy burden. But if you're willing to face your demons, we could use someone with your. unique perspective. Just know, this journey won't be easy."

As Elara starts talking about the details of the quest, Rick is both drawn to and cautious. He has a sense that she had her motives and possibly to do with the mysteries surrounding the Nexus Realm. He is nonetheless curious about her and interested in knowing her motives.
Rick:
"What's in it for you?"
Elara:
"Knowledge. Ancient powers lie hidden within the Nexus Realm that might remake our understanding of reality. And what is this relic but might hold other, greater secrets?"
Rick nods, a flash of spark in his eyes. Joining Elara's group might bring him closer to the powers he is after, though Rick seems wary of the dynamics that goes into this kind of group and the chances of betrayal.
Rick:
"Good. Then count me in. What is our first move?"
Elara shares the time and place of their first mission. And as Rick walks away from the guild, he cannot help but feel that Elara knows more about him than she is letting on. Their fates are tied, and what's ahead holds danger and intrigue.

Elara says that quest start after month
A month from now, Rick is to look for the mountains in sight; ancient, rugged ground of heavy forests, jagged cliffs, and hidden valleys where there are rumors of different races and mystical creatures, with fiercest monsters roaming there. Rick feels that this kind of environment is perfect setting for him to challenge and test his powers by returning with the skills that were honed in his billion past lives.
Rick has an odd duality for his motivations: he doesn't actually need redemption, but he wishes to control the massive powers that he knows exist inside him. His memories are tormenting him with ideas, methods, and information of hundreds of years. He recalls different kinds of magic, combat moves, forbidden arts, and how he could manipulate or control all those enemies of his. He became dark at such moments, and this pushed him to be effective and cruel.
The path to the mountains is grueling, but not for someone like Rick. As he treks deeper, the air changes with raw power and primal energy. Massive trees loom above him, and the distant sounds of creatures echo through the mist-laden valley below.
There, standing by his side is the faint, ethereal system spirit with a soft glow.
She stands before him as a young woman, innocence and wisdom and beauty all mixed together but has eyes that hold the secret of the ages.
System Spirit:
"You have great potential, Rick, but the powers of your former lives are only remnants of what they once were. I can help you unlock them… if you prove yourself".
Rick:
(smirking)
"Prove myself? I've taken kingdoms and ravaged empires. Do not take my measure."
System Spirit:
"But you've also leaned on cheats, betrayals, and powers that weren't exactly yours to own. Here, you'll have to re-attach them by experience, by talent and, dare I say, by discipline.".
Now Rick starts training; he formulates several objectives, every one of them to reawaken some particular art in his past. He traverses the desert for several days, struggling through hurdles that wild beasts, grotesque monsters, and occasionally a nomadic warrior tribe pose before him.
1. Dual Cultivation Arts: Rick had practiced dual cultivation in the past lives as a way of gaining power and manipulating others. With the system spirit's guidance, he meditates to enhance his energy and harmonize it with primal forces, unlocking his hidden strengths.
2. Holy Power: After so long, Rick used holy powers that way in an evil, selfish manner. He returns with dark edges to these powers- summoning energy that which stands between holy and corrupt. He summons radiant energy to heal his wounds from minor battles; yet there's always a sinister glow within the light.
3. Magic Power Rick remembers many spells: the control of elements, callings and reality distortion. He practiced every of these methods: conjuring fire in his hand carefully, sculpting ice daggers from nothing, bending shadows to surround him. His memories make the practicing easy, and every single spell costs energy.
4. Martial Arts and Physical Combat: In his previous lives, Rick had purely depended on brute force. But now in this life, he comes across monsters that challenge him to fight for the sake of endurance and stamina; he improves his unorthodox fighting skills and sword fighting with the help of hunting and battling monstrous animals and testing his strength by himself against those monsters with his developing reflexes.

Rick will have access to the enormous gamut of feeling that he's lived through in hundreds of lives-from the depths of despair and fury to flashes of happiness and love. Each life, he exploited those feelings to manipulate himself and others; he exploited them as weapons to amass power, control, and influence. Now, he will have the opportunity to rediscover them, making his strength fierce and subtle.

Rick is sitting by a cliff on some remote shore, meditating. The emotions he's buried inside him start flowing through him, now that his eyes are closed. The system spirit stands next to him, gazing intently.
System Spirit:
"Emotion Powers are powerful, Rick. Yet they can be deadly. You have to face each emotion honestly or it will consume you."
Rick:
(smiling darkly)
"I've lived through enough pain to know my way around a few emotions."
As he fills himself, the emotions begin to flow. And each emotion manifests itself as a different energy, and so Rick learns to tap them one by one.
1. Anger-Red-hot and fierce, anger runs through him, and he gets spurts of strength and endurance. He can channel it to amplify his physical attacks, making him a force to be reckoned with in close combat. This is a power he had in lifetimes as a warrior king, leading battles unmatched in fury.
2. Despair – Icy, heavy despair makes his senses and instincts more sharp and sharpens him to ground clarity and strategic thinking in his brain. Reminding himself of all the other lives he lost: kingdom, allies, even himself countless times, he fights. The emotion protects him against mental attacks, as he had grown accustomed to enduring hardship.
3. Happiness- Radiant and brilliant, happiness turns into a healing energy for his quick recovery from injuries. Since he has hardly any experiences with happiness throughout his life, he uses this energy supply to rejuvenate and heal his wounds more quickly and gain strength.
4. Love – Highly and strong, love introduces the both good and evil light to his life. Tuned, he can become one with others, developing the strength of allies. Still, the system spirit advises him that this can challenge him more profoundly for once it was love which destroyed him.
5. Fear-Sharp and black, the power of fear allows him to draw shadows towards himself; it makes his body shadowy and his presence strike fear in another's heart. This can remind him of the assassins' and tyrant's lifestyle when he depended on others' fear, and he would cloak himself up, move unheard, or keep his enemy confused.
Spirit System
"Each of these emotions can become a weapon, Rick. But if you let one consume you, it may overshadow the others."
Rick:
with a confident smile
"I am not afraid. I know how to restrain myself-and everyone else as well."
He gets up from his meditation, having settled in each of those emotions in him, awaiting to summon them when the need is there. And it gives him the ability to harness emotions as independent powers: physical, mental, and supernatural strength.
Hunting for dinner one evening, Rick finds a shadow beast in the darkness: it has claws like swords, and he lets out a snarl flavoured with malice. He smiles because he needs to test his Emotion Powers against this thing.
He thinks of fear, inputs it in himself, and concentrates it on the shadow beast. Those rough attacks which seemed so probing earlier now hesitant and warry. He merges himself with the darkness as he dodges its strikes easily.
In a flash, Rick turns angry, and he charges forward with furious strength. Every punch and strike hits with the force of a boulder, causing the beast to shake.
As the fight goes on, Rick uses hopelessness to hone his focus, enabling him to examine the weaknesses of the beast, finally exploiting its every move.
When the beast lands a blow, Rick channels joy, mending his wounds instantly. The beast becomes frustrated, sensing Rick's resilience.
With a final blow, he combines Rage and Fear, overpowering the shadow beast and forcing it to retreat, wounded and wary.
System Spirit:
"Well done. Your control is… surprising."
Rick:
(voice low)
"I've mastered these powers before. But I think I've only scratched the surface."

Rick's mastery over Emotion Powers is a dangerous cocktail of dark past and present drive for control. They are now an arsenal at his disposal and deadly in their versatility. Every emotion he calls forth strengthens him but also brings before him the real nature of his many lives.
With more training, he believes he is getting stronger but part of him knows that it will be difficult for what good and evil is in him, as this was a heroic yet corrupted nature.

3. Fury of the Heart - Control over several emotions, and is infused into attacks.

Rick has built his Soul Levels in past lives to nearly perfect completion, giving him an enormous amount of resistance against spiritual and mental attacks. With his life now, he keeps the highest Soul Level he ever achieved prior.

3. Empowered Soul - Makes the physical body stronger using soul energy.

With his long and high-level spiritual training, Rick gets the energies from around which he can use to make things stronger. But this position of Astral Traveler would give him consciousness so that he could project this through, allowing him better moves and exploration.

For Rick to ascend at such great speed, he has to master Emotion Arts with Cultivation and Meditation. Coupled with his Soul Power, this makes him heavily advantageous in defending mental and soul-based attacks; however, he does want to improve Magic so that he can expand on his arsenal.
