Chapter 1 - New Life

Hello, I'm back with a new story. Originally, I was going to continue Danmachi: The Outcast and start another one about MHA but set 8 years after the finale. However, since I haven't written in so long, I feel like I've lost my touch, and I don't remember much about the series either. That's why I decided to write this story with one of my favorite characters, Android 21.

Now, without further ado, goodbye~

----------------

[Third Person POV]

In a vast, completely white space, two figures sat watching a giant screen where the anime Vagabond was being projected. The opening theme played in the background.

Crunch, crunch.

Both entities were munching on popcorn with their mouths open, cheeks puffed as they watched the iconic Musashi prepare to deliver one of his most memorable lines.

Suddenly, one of the figures, of colossal proportions, stood up and paused the TV right before the big moment.

"Well, kid, it's time for you to move on. Have you decided which world you want to start in?" the entity asked, looking at Lian with a smile while typing on a floating netbook in front of him, waiting for an answer.

Lian thought for a moment before replying.

"Well... I think I'll choose the My Hero Academia universe. It's a relatively safe place... and I feel like I can get stronger there," he said with some conviction.

The entity looked at him, surprised.

"Wow, I didn't expect that," it murmured with a raised eyebrow. Then, more broadly, "Alright, kid. Now spin the wheel."

"Wheel? What wheel?" Lian asked, confused.

The entity laughed before responding:

"The one between your ass and my tits! Hahahahaha!" He paused, frowning. "Damn it, that doesn't work. It sounded better in my head."

Lian stared at him with a poker face, completely immune to the absurdity of the situation. He sighed, tired of the entity's strange jokes, and decided to move on.

He walked over to a giant wheel that had appeared behind the entity and spun it. He had no other choice; he was already mentally exhausted.

After all, the only redeeming part of this whole experience was that at least he got to watch an episode of the second season of No Game No Life and some of the Vagabond anime.

The wheel kept spinning without stopping until, finally, it landed on a name. Lian tried to read it, but the text was so small he couldn't make it out.

"Hey, Scriptwriter, what does it say? I can't see it," he asked, frustrated.

The entity, now known as Scriptwriter, squinted, turning his eyes into two thin slits.

"You brat! You're asking me, someone who needs glasses? Kids these days have no respect for their elders," he grumbled irritably.

Resigned, Scriptwriter looked for his glasses. Surprisingly, they were Aizen's, though they clearly had no prescription.

He put them on anyway, and after a moment of silence, he read the name. Immediately, he burst into laughter that echoed throughout the white space, pointing at Lian with a trembling finger.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"What are you laughing at, you cheap knockoff of an outer entity?" Lian snapped, annoyed.

"Hahaha! Maybe I'm a knockoff, but at least I still have something to be proud of..." Scriptwriter kept laughing maliciously and mockingly. "HAHAHAHA!"

The entity's comment hit Lian right in his pride.

Feeling a mix of anger and despair, he quickly started climbing the massive wheel to see for himself what it said.

When he finally reached the name, his eyes widened in shock.

Female: Android 21 (Majin Buu)

Lian felt his stomach drop as he processed what he had just read.

Suddenly, he understood why Scriptwriter had said he "still had something to be proud of". Of course, he did… while Lian no longer did.

Falling to the ground, Lian began pounding the floor repeatedly, shouting:

"Why!? Why, why, why!?"

Scriptwriter laughed for a while longer, but his laughter was cut short when he saw Lian trying to perform a zapukoko with his hand, only for his attempt to fail miserably as it passed through his ghostly body.

"Don't cry for me... I'm already dead..." Lian whispered as he fell dramatically to the floor, holding an imaginary rose between his fingers.

The entity decided to end the spectacle. With a sigh, he grabbed a pencil and started poking Lian with it as he spoke.

"You can't die, kid. You're already dead." Scriptwriter looked at him with a bit of pity in his eyes before continuing.

"Look on the bright side: you'll have Android 21's abilities, though they'll function like a quirk. You'll have to train them, but they're there."

Lian, like a lost soul reborn, threw himself at Scriptwriter and shook him violently, like Kazuma with Aqua. Tears streamed down his face as he screamed:

"I lost my masculinity! I was a man, I WAS! And now I'm a woman! I lost my friend Merlin, I lost my wand, my Angry Birds, my Rail Cannon, my other leg, my magic brush... my manhood!"

Scriptwriter, tired of the screaming, decided to take matters into his own hands. He gave Lian a soft but firm slap to calm him down.

"Calm down, man... I mean, calm down, woman. Look at the bright side: you'll be reborn in a new world and have a new life."

Lian calmed down a bit, breathing heavily, and let herself fall to the ground, staring into space with a defeated expression.

"Forgive me... I had so many good times with him, that when he was gone, I felt like I lost a part of myself..."

Scriptwriter puffed out his cheeks to contain his laughter, but when Lian continued, the situation became even more hilarious.

"But the worst part..." Lian looked down, serious. "... is that I wanted to have children... and now that's no longer possible. And I don't plan on dating a man... unless it's Astolfo. That makes me question my sexuality."

Scriptwriter raised an eyebrow, resisting the urge to wave an imaginary LGBT flag. For a moment, he reflected and decided to be magnanimous.

Sigh

"Alright, I'll be nice to you. You'll be able to get your member back, but only when you're doing... that and thinking, or rather, when you've fallen in love. How you explain that to your partner, that's your problem."

Lian looked at him incredulously at first, but then her eyes lit up. She jumped and hugged Scriptwriter tightly.

"Thank you, thank you! If I weren't straight, I'd kiss you."

Scriptwriter pulled away from Lian's embrace, clearly uncomfortable, and exaggeratedly cleared his throat, trying to bring seriousness back to the moment.

"Well, let's talk about your abilities now," he said as he dusted off his imaginary shoulders.

"As I mentioned before, you'll have Android 21's abilities, but in this universe, they'll work like a quirk. That means you'll have to train them if you want to unlock their full potential."

Lian crossed her arms, still trying to process everything that had happened in just a few minutes, but she was paying attention, albeit with a frown.

"Listen closely because this might save your life," Scriptwriter continued, his tone now more serious.

"Your main quirk will be mutant-type, which means your appearance will change. You'll have Android 21's look, including superhuman physique and abnormal healing abilities. But it's not that simple. This quirk comes with additional sub-quirks that can be both a blessing and a curse."

Lian raised an eyebrow, now a bit more interested.

"I'm going to list your abilities, and I want you to understand how they work in this world, okay?" Scriptwriter gave her a piercing look before beginning.

"Your first sub-quirk is called Absorption. As the name implies, you'll be able to absorb energy or even people. By doing so, you gain their strength, but here's the tricky part: if you completely absorb someone, you'll also gain their quirk, but only if it's not a mutant quirk."

Lian looked at him, clearly confused.

"What do you mean 'only if it's not mutant'?" she asked, not hiding her frustration.

"Ah, kid, let me explain it more clearly." Scriptwriter took a deep breath.

"Mutant quirks are integrated into a person's biology from birth. Those are harder to copy because you'd have to absorb the entire body, whereas other quirks, like transformation or activation types, you can obtain more easily if you absorb a key part of the body that activates the quirk."

"Let me make it simpler. If you absorb Iida's legs, you could get his quirk, or if you absorb Deku's classmate's tail, you'd gain his ability. But there are cases where quirks have been trained to the point of being similar to mutant types. Bakugo is an example. His quirk manifests in his arms, but years of training have allowed him to improve his control. As long as there's sweat, his quirk works, meaning you could only get a weaker copy if you just absorb his hands."

Horrified, Lian looked at Scriptwriter.

"So... I can absorb parts of people to make myself stronger?" Lian shuddered slightly as she said it. "Or absorb the whole person? Isn't that... bad? I thought you were a good guy..."

Scriptwriter looked at her calmly, but his eyes now reflected a deep seriousness, the kind of seriousness someone who had seen beyond simple notions of good and evil would have.

"Kid... To me, all forms of life are the same. Humans consume other species on Earth, and in some universes, even intelligent races. I don't care if humans are consumed because in my eyes, they're all the same. All creatures in the multiverse have the same rights. It doesn't matter the religion, mind, race, color, ideology... as long as they're alive, they're equal in my view."

Lian stood still, taking in what she had just heard. Scriptwriter, seeing he had her attention, continued:

"Look, kid, the multiverse isn't all sunshine and rainbows. There are those who do terrible things to survive, whether for good or bad reasons. Entities like me, born with a 'golden spoon,' don't have the right to judge anyone. We just watch, learn, and grow, staying at the top. I've lived so long that this ideology will stay with me until the end of time."

With a sigh, Scriptwriter changed the topic:

"Your second quirk is Flight. There's no mystery there; you can fly without restrictions, just like Android 21 did. It's useful for getting around quickly or escaping dangerous situations."

"And what about that thing where she turns people into candy?" Lian asked, remembering one of Android 21's most iconic abilities.

"Ah, the famous Candy Mania." Scriptwriter smiled, amused. "That will be a powerful ability, but it has its limitations. You can transform people into candy and consume them to gain their energy, but you have to be careful with external factors. If someone bathes that candy in water or burns it, it'll be destroyed, and your enemy will return to their original form... or die if the damage is too severe."

"That sounds... complicated." Lian sighed. "And how does that affect me?"

Scriptwriter nodded, expecting the question.

"That quirk has a serious drawback: once you start using it regularly, you'll develop a psychological addiction to sweets. If you don't consume them or transform people for a long time, your emotional state will be affected, making you unstable, and your eye color will change to one with black scleras and red irises."

Lian brought a hand to their forehead, clearly overwhelmed.

"In...stable?" they murmured, worried. "Great... now I'll also be a crazy candy addict."

Guionista laughed softly, enjoying the chaos he had unleashed.

"There's more, but it's also important to mention that your transformation is temporary. If you don't consume your opponent in a short period of time, they'll revert to their original form, and you'll have wasted valuable energy in the process. Plus, Candy Mania only works on living beings; you won't be able to use it on objects or structures."

Lian sighed deeply, processing everything.

"And... what about the tail?" they asked with some discomfort.

Guionista snapped his fingers.

"Ah, yes! Your tail will be a crucial part of your mutant quirk. You'll have full control over it, and you'll be able to stretch and use it in various ways, just like Android 21 did. In addition, your superhuman physique will allow you to perform movements that defy the laws of physics."

"Great..." Lian said, their tone tinged with sarcasm. "Now I'm a woman with a tail, addicted to candy, and with identity issues."

"Exactly!" Guionista smiled broadly, enjoying the irony. "And lastly, though it's not a quirk, you'll have a skill called Mimicry. You'll be able to observe your opponents' moves and techniques and copy them. It's not perfect, but it will give you an edge in fights."

Lian looked at him with a mixture of resignation and exhaustion.

"Is there anything else I need to know before you send me to this 'new world'?" they asked with a sigh.

Guionista looked at them for a second as if reflecting. Then he shrugged.

"Nothing more for now. Just remember, kid, this is a second chance. You can do whatever you want with it. I just hope you don't end up... well, devouring someone you shouldn't." He smiled mischievously. "Like those young teachers or something. And if you do, at least make it fun!"

Lian looked at him, knowing their future would not be easy.

"I guess this is it," they muttered, adjusting the non-existent clothes in their ghostly form.

"Exactly! Now go, and don't make me look bad down there!" Guionista hit a key on his keyboard, and the white space around them started to fade.

As Lian slowly disappeared, they could hear Guionista calling out to them in a mocking tone:

"Oh, and don't forget about your new gender! Have a 'sweet' new life, girl!"

Lian only managed to grunt before everything faded into darkness.

Extra

Hello, this would normally be in the middle of everything, but I didn't want to just throw it in since most people would ignore it. Also, no one wants a first chapter filled with explanations, so I preferred to let it flow like a conversation. Now everything is more digested, so I hope you enjoy it.

Main Quirk: Mutant

Superhuman Physique: Superior strength and endurance

Accelerated Healing: Abnormally fast recovery.

Tail and body control: Ability to stretch and manipulate the body like Android 21.

Sub-quirks:

Absorption: You can absorb people's energy or powers, taking their strength or ability. The power of the absorbed quirk depends on the degree of absorption. Mutant quirks are harder to fully absorb.

Fly: The ability to fly without restrictions.

Candy Mania: This quirk allows you to fire a beam from your fingers that turns your opponent into a candy so you can eat them.

Weaknesses [Candy Mania]:

Exposure to water or fire: If the candy is exposed to these elements, it can be damaged or destroyed, causing the opponent to return to their original form or die.

Emotional fixation: You develop a psychological addiction to sweets, becoming unstable if you can't transform or eat candies for a long time.

Limited duration: The transformation is temporary. If you don't consume your opponent in a short period of time, they return to their original form, and you will have spent energy in the process.

Difficulty against objects or environments: The quirk only works on living beings, not on objects or structures.

Extra ability (without a quirk):

Mimicry: You can copy your opponents' movements and techniques just by observing them
