Adam stepped out of the nurse's office, the door closing softly behind him. The hallways were quiet, save for the faint murmurs of students in nearby classrooms.
The air felt heavy, as though the tension from the confrontation earlier still clung to him. He walked toward his classroom, his footsteps echoing lightly against the polished stone floors.
As he entered, the room was already bustling with activity. Most of the students were seated, their chatter filling the air with a mix of laughter and hushed conversations.

Adam scanned the room and noticed a familiar figure near the back—his sister, Lily.
