He nodded, steeling himself for another encounter with the nobles and royals in their class who never missed an opportunity to remind them of their outsider status.
As they entered the classroom, the air felt as cold and aloof as ever. The seats were occupied by impeccably dressed noble and royal children, their postures exuding a natural air of superiority. Conversations hushed as Adam and Lily walked in, but not out of respect — they were simply being ignored.
