Waking up to a ray of sunlight, I stretched my hands and as soon as I was aware of my surroundings, the scenes of last night hit my mind and brought me back to reality. I was scared and embarrassed. More than ever. The thought of seeing my boss again after Saturday's events made me anxious. He would probably ask me to quit. Oh no no don't go there.
Relax Sophia, you didn't have sex with him.
So I gained my strength and pushed aside the covers off me and went straight to washroom. While brushing, bathing all I could think of was how will I face Calvin. My boss. Damn it sounds so scary.
Pushing these thoughts aside, I decided to wear my bath robe and have breakfast then change into formals as I woke up pretty early from my usual time.
Then I went to the kitchen, where I saw Emma already making waffles.
"Look who's in the kitchen after a decade." I said
"Haha very funny. So Sleep well ?" Emma asked.
"Yahuh" I said in a cool voice trying to hide all the emotions that are swimming in mind.
"Don't try to hide what you're feeling right now. I know you so I know you are nervous about seeing your boss." Emma said.
"Damn girl, you know me so well and yes I'm extremely tensed." I said with a squeaky voice.
"Sophia to start with, it wasn't your mistake. Whatever happened was that bastard's fault so stop feeling guilty and secondly your boss helped you and he knew that it wasn't you who was at fault. So chill you dumbass". Emma said in a single breath.
"Jeez Emma that was one hell of a speech. Gotta say I'm more confident now." I said in a very ecstatic way.
"So eat these waffles and head to your office Soph". Emma said faking her strict face.
I quickly grabbed the waffles and the chocolate syrup and started eating like a baby elephant. I was fucking hungry. I could hear my stomach growling earlier this morning. After eating I washed my dishes and went to change into my formals for the office. To meet my boss.
I dressed myself in black shirt tucked in grey pants paired with black heels. I kept my hair open today.
I applied some mascara and a tinted lip gloss as usual.
After checking my final look in mirror, I grabbed my stuff and headed towards the office.
"Bye Em". I said.
"Bye-bye Sophia. Luck to you". She winked at me while standing near the island in the kitchen.
I hailed a cab today instead of walking.
As I reached the building I felt something in the pit of my stomach. As If there was something moving in my stomach. Only if it could be butterflies instead of stress busters.
Breathe girl! Why are you making it such a big deal. It wasn't your mistake. So calm the heck down.
As I entered the building, I greeted the receptionist and made my way towards my cabin. I kept my stuff on the desk and went to cafeteria to grab coffee for not-so-ruthless-and- kind-hearted boss of mine. He's cute. He saved me. So there's more to this stone cold man.
A cup of coffee in one hand and shivering in another hand I knocked by his office door. After hearing the come in sound, I entered inside.
"Good morning Sir". I said in a nervous tone while keeping the cup on his desk.
"Good morning Ms. Brown. How are you?" He asked while checking me out.
This makes we all wet. How can his single glance make me so wet. Man he's got talent.
"Really good. Thank you sir for helping me the other night." I replied.
"No big deal Ms. Brown." He said while looking directly at me. While keeping one hand on his jaw as if he was admiring in a way or something

He did it again. He was checking me out not once but twice. Damn.
Oh my eyes are gonna burn! This one hell of a hot man is checking me out and then looking at me while talking. He never does this. Oh I'm gonna fall down.
"Also Ms. Brown I want you to schedule all my meetings for today and make sure you attend them with me. It will help you learn and if possible take notes too. After all experience matters the most." He said while looking down checking some files this time.
"Sure Sir. Anything else you'd like me to do". I asked.
"No nothing else. You may start with your work." He replied.
I started with all the work he assigned me. As I was doing my work I was suddenly hit by the thoughts of him and how he was an amiable man on the inside.

Shut up Sophia. Don't kid yourself. He had been with models and Female actors who are far more times beautiful than you. And I'm nothing compared to them. Shit. Just focus on work. You have to give him the schedule in an hour. So chop-chop. Work your ass off that's the only way you can earn money. You lazy bag.
Completing my work, as I was about to go up to Sir's Office to give the schedule for upcoming meetings there was a call from him to come to his office as he had something important to discuss.
I KNOCKED and then entered his cabin.
Why do I feel something in stomach every time I see him or I am about to see him. Guess I'm scared that's all.
"Yes Sir". I asked still feeling a pang in my stomach.
"Ms. Brown there's an upcoming meeting and charity event in Los Angeles two weeks later organised by Davis's and as my assistant you will be attending it too. It is important for Smith industries." Calvin said in a serious tone.
"Really, I would love to, I mean I would be obliged". I replied with a grin and then fumbling on my words.
Oh my god I'm going to LA where I may meet my favourite actor Raymond Grey.
I'm coming to get you Grey. Not the time Sophia.I whispered to myself.
"Why are you smiling Ms. Brown." He asked in a very dazed tone.
"Nothing Sir, it's just I haven't been out of state for a while now and also its hollywood so I'm kind of excited." I said. The fucking grin on my face not going away.
Why would I say that to my boss. Oh god I'm so dumb.
"Work Sophia, we are going for work. So don't get yourself too happy about the place or meeting any Actors." He said in a very irked way.
"Yes sir". Replying in a low voice.
"Also here's your schedule for the upcoming meetings". I added.
"You may keep it here and go." Replying in the same annoyed tone as before.
"Okay sir." I replied. And I exited his Cabin.
