Chapter 1 - Start of a new journey

3rd person's POV

On top of a building a girl no older than 14 could be seen sitting on the edge of it looking around from there like she was taking all the beauty in before going to her deepest slumber so that she could remember it all. The weather was cloudy and windy but it still could not hid the beautiful red Shaded Sun that was going down on the west.

1st person's POV.

Wosh ~

The sound of wind blowing past me reached my ears

as

I smiled as I looked at the sunset from the top of the building the sunset was breath taking as the sun of a beautiful Sade of red was disappearing with clouds srounding it while the birds were flying back to their perspective homes which I didn't have. I felt drops rain fall on my face as I came to a conclusion that well to say I didn't have a place to return to not anymore since I had never felt what true home feels like and after this I don't think that I will ever get to know too but I can't back down now as I stand at the edge of the building's railing the wind was blowing making my clothes that were starting to get wet float I singed as I remembered the faces of my "family members " and the other two halves of my soul my heart my two friends you know it hurts me to leave this two idiots who have no idea how to live in this paradox of fate called life as they were stupid fools that didn't know how to even solve the most simplest things with out my

help making me crack a soft sad genuine smile after years of fake ones but they will eventually learn to live on with out me as I put my first foot in the air it feels heavenly the call of death wait for me at the bottom of the building I know that I will go to hell after all I was never a good person using everyone for my own grains at the last moment of my life all I can think of is the line from one of my favorite author Dazai osamo I have lived a life of shame which fits me perfectly as I don't even feel like a human anymore as I know humen feel emotions unlike me.I grind like a crazy person as I shouted

" Good bye you rotten world finally I can have the peace of death that I always wanted!"

As I did a little spin and finally walk past the edge of the building.

Wow this feels amazing the air moving past me is strong it almost feels like a wight nothing I smiled the last smile of my life as I realized my friends and family might not even be able to find my dead body for burial as I am about to fall in to a river well just like I wanted so I won't have to bother them with this little stunt I pulled as I finally close my eyes as I feel my body hit the water felt my body getting submerged in the clear water as I tried to look through the clear water above me as I let my hands of the last strength it had as I felt the water starting to get in my windpipe it burns like my insides were on fire but I guess it's the price for a peachful death though I would finally be free from this world and this life that was simply not worth living with the amount of pain it caused and the numbness and the void it only spread further and further inside of my self....

Goodbye Momo and Ratri I thought as I get submerged in the water thinking back to the Start of my miserable life. After all death is nothing but a function of life it's nothing more than a promise written in the script of life as the final and after all even if I tried to live they would have found me and kill me anyway at least I had a peaceful death unlike what would have happened if those men found me after all I had always dreamed of having a peaceful death but my greatest regret might be the fact that I wasn't able to help that boy of my who begged me to save him from those people that were experimenting on him even if I gave him some food and good clothes and a roof to stay under for that fateful night but he was still taken away.

"Waah! Waah! Waah! Sob*sob"

A piercing crying sound could be heard all across the room . It's a girl said a doctor hearing this the woman on the bed was clearly very happy as she smiled brightly.

"I had always wanted a girl. Can you give her to me?"

in a hourse voice as she moves her had forward

" yes here you go " the doctor hands her the baby .

"oh my sweet angel"

the woman says while kissing the child on the head.

Suddenly the door opens reviling an worried man with a elderly woman. The worried man clearly looks now relieved as the man goes over to the woman on the bed with the newly born child in her hands.

"Are you and the baby both ok?"

The man asks as the woman nods her head as an agreement. The elderly woman who was on the side clearly didn't looked very pleased as she said

"Oh! It's a girl."

The man and the woman neither said anything about it as they were in their own world with there newly born child.

Which was the start of a new ordinary life of a girl who was just like everyone else.

Everyday she grew up little by little lonely by an servent as both her parents had jobs but her father started to drown in loans and debates by giving away every money that he earned to his parents and sisters.

Because of the lone and debates her father became more and more short tempered fight with her mother almost all the times as she also didn't stay silent as she was the one who had to pay for all his debate. She was sick and tired of all the bullshit he pulled.

Their marriage was a love marriage they both had run away from their house and got married as a result her mother almost had no contact with her parents. They had lived a happy marriage life for two years and then they had their one and only daughter who is now named kurayami.

And this is my story of life that now you all are going to be reading. I hope you all enjoy my miserable life till the very end as I know that my dearest readers that you are watching me just remember...

3rd person's POV

A middle aged man probably in his thirtis could be seen walking by the side of a river the man had a black raincoat draped all over him as the man noticed that something like a dead body was getting carried by the current of the river

1st person's POV

Huff! Huff!

Seriously I don't get paid enough to deal with all those stuff what in the world does those idiots think they are I still can't believe that I joined these idiots to help in their little game with life and death for fucks sake I am an top Neurosurgeon in Japan as well as an trained military doctor why world did I have to come to Bangladesh just for helping this idiots find suitable children for experimenting even if I hate to be a part of this stuff I may be a scumbug but even I love children as they are so cute and of course easy to manipulate well it's not like I have choices too I do owe them a lot for saving my life though they are quite stupid for thinking I won't stabe them in the back but why did they had to come here there are more underdeveloped contries !? well then again I understand them the amount of corruption there is in this country it's going to more easier to do this kinds of illegal things in this country since it is easy to buy people but the problem is that its hard to find gifted children as they are rarely found and specialy in a country like this. But it sucks to walk around in a rainy weather

argh!

even my shoes got muddy I can't even call my darling Kiara to just carry me from here as this countries population doesn't have any idea about gifted-

I stopped ranting in my head as I noticed something falling from the top of the 8 storied building in the river after a minute whatever that fell in the river was floating towards in direction where I was so I decided to inspect it.

Wait ! , is that a kid!?

SATIS MORTUI!

I quickly called Kiara to help me save the girl from drowning. Kiara noded "on it Masako-kun"

3rd person's POV

The girl startled hearing the loud sound, however, when the pale little girl with the strange man in a black lab coat grabbed her by the hand, stopping her flowing away for just a second before she vanished in a flash of bright, nearly black-red light.

"Kiara-chan!" Was the last thing she heard before he broke the surface of the water, quickly plunging into the depths of the river.

The girl got stuck in the current and sank, A shell-shocked Masako was looking stupidly.

"A nullifier? No, that can't be ... Can it? ... Well, I'm certainly going to find out!" Without hesitation, the man threw off his coat and jumped, diving in after the strange drowning girl.

Quite for fearless, old man in 30is .The reddish-purple eyes were focused on finding the little kid and realizing she was far too heavy for such a skinny girl. He showcased his intelligence in realizing that the backpack was the problem and within the second, a scalpel sliced through the leather straps, making the girl float, almost letting the current carry him away just as the girl had ultimately planned, but Masako caught her, secured one of his arms around her and quickly swam them both towards the surface. He gasped for air when it was finally made available to him, glanced around before making his way to the closest shore. The current had taken them some fifty meters away from the bridge they'd jumped off of, but that was fine. As soon as he makes sure the girl is stable, he'll find a way to summon Kiara back and have her retrieve her things.

When they were finally on solid ground, Masako barely caught his breath before he started doing compressions to get the girl breathing again.

"Sorry to ruin your day, but I wasn't the best of my class for nothing," the man said with a crazed-gleeful grin, not even taking a minute to have the teen coughing up the water from her lungs and even vomiting some out of her stomach before collapsing back into unconsciousness, breathing labored and not quite right, but still steady and there. Masako collapsed to sit next to his patient, trying to regain his own breathing. He was lucky resuscitating the girl hadn't required mouth-to-mouth; he wasn't sure he had enough air in his own lungs to perform it.

The rain started to fall on the man, who still didn't seem to be noticing it. Instead, he was watching as Kiara reappeared before him, having gone to retrieve his coat. Instead of wrapping himself up in it, he covered the soaking wet girl, startled when Kiara vanished again. And then he laughed, a truly chilling sound, as he realized what he had just discovered.

The man smirked " Would

You look at that I found a diamond in a pond full of mud how lucky I am!"

And thus the life of surana Ahmed, thirteen years old, changed forever.

                    Exhaustion

For all men, there comes a time                                 of languishing.                                                        —Proverb

First, one must have a thirst.                                                                             —Catherine de MedicisI.

I didn't awaken with a sense of purpose anymore.

I awoke and a sad, everyday scene

I'd bitterly dreamed of ...

(I could neither settle in

nor escape that place)

Then evening came, and I thought

this world is like an ocean.

I imagined a watery expanse at dusk,

where a haggard boatman rows

with unsteady hands.

Looking to see if there are any fish or not,

he passes by staring at the surface.
