"Thank you for the food." – The elf clasped his hands together as he expressed his gratitude.
Unexpectedly, the elf took a piece of bread from the bag and took a bite. It was soft and inside had a vanilla essence coating.
"Delicious!" – The softness and flavor of the bread won the elf over, making him exclaim.
"Mr. Ashia, would you like some tea?"
Beside the elf's table, Auratus was holding a tray with a cup and a teapot, her smile was gentle.
"I'd love to, Ms. Auratus." – As he thanked her with a big smile, his cup was filled.
A soft, but reverberating sound of a chair echoed through the room, Auratus' attention was captured as she looked back and saw Gachuti who had finished his tea and had gotten up from the table.
"Thank you for the tea, but I think I'll go out now."
"Huh? Okay."
Disappointment was evident on her face, as her eyes followed Gachuti back to his room.
"Delicious! This tea is so good." – The elf exclaimed, taking another sip.
Inside his room, he was finishing putting on his boots, finally standing up and pulling his hair back, tying it in a bun. His shirt was light, gray, with black pants. After getting ready, he left the room.
Adventurers' Guild (8:30 AM)
"Hello, how can I help you today?" – The attendant smiled.
"I'd like to take a gold rack mission." – As he spoke, he reached for his bag.
"Could you show me your adventurer's card?"
Taking his card from his bag and handing it to the attendant, who took a look and, finally, brought out a black sphere. Placing the card above the sphere, it began to react, changing color, turning blue, and a hologram with all his information appeared.
"..." – Silence took over the scene, after she saw something in Gachuti's information.
Of course, she's going to judge me for being half-demon, just like in Demigem.
"Mr. Gachuti, were you really trained by Mr. Thijou?" – The smile on the attendant's face was genuine.
"What? I was, but you're not going to judge me by my race?"
"No, I know Demigem must have been on alert after what happened with Shiroi and Taiyõ."
The conversation was interrupted by a hooded man, who was taller than Gachuti, holding out his hand, which was covered by a glove, and placing a mission poster.
"Excuse me, Mr. Gachuti, wait just a moment." – She turned to the man and began to attend to him.
"Miss, I'd like to take this mission." – Handing over a poster.
"Unfortunately, you need at least 3 people, at least for the gold rack." – She looked at the poster and returned it to the man.
"I know, my companions are on their way." – He left, the same way he came, and sat at a table alone.
Gachuti watched that man, leaning with his head on the table, with his arms crossed, lost in his own thoughts, until he was interrupted.
"Are you okay, man?"
"Huh? What do you mean?" – Surprise was clear on his face.
"It's just that you were talking to yourself."
"... I just thought out loud too much." – Giving a somewhat forced smile.
The man was sitting with his face buried in the table, with his arms crossed, lost in his own thoughts, until he was interrupted.
"Who are you?" – His head lifted to the person, although his face remained covered by his hood.
"I'm Gachuti Blood and I wanted to know if I could join your group for the mission you took, I swear I'm a good compa..."
"You're in."
"So easy."
"Yeah, actually, I was missing one anyway, it's better to sit down, the empty head must take a while."
