"It's been a while since I forge a Core Forging Realm Weapon and I can say, it brings back memories."(Vulcan)
Vulcan pause for a while as he remembers his past.
"You can now get this weapons. Try to drop your blood essence if the weapon's spirit acknowledge you."(Vulcan)
"Let me try."(Rex)
Rex volunteered and no one objected.
'Hey buddy, I need your power so I can become strong. We will be the best of partners. If you want to be my partner you should accept this.'(Rex)
Taking a deep breath, Rex bit his thumb and force a blood essence to drop on the blades of the the twin daggers. Like a thirsty blade, the dagger absorbed the blad and it glows in darkness for a second. Rex was glad.
"Hahaha thank you for accepting me. I can't use you yet since I didn't break through but just wait for a few days."(Rex)
The twin daggers glowed accepting his proposal.
"Now, who's next?"(Rex)
"Congratulations, I'm next."(Kelvin)
"Thank you, good luck brother."(Rex)
Kelvin nodded as he approached the Greatsword.
'I am a paladin, I swear to protect those of my love ones especially my family and race. I need you to be able to do that.'(Kelvin)
Kelvin also bit his thumb and force a drop of his blood essence on the greatsword. The greatsword glowed, the spirit within sensing Kelvin's pure heart as it accepted him. Kelvin hold the greatsword and stares at it.
"Congratulations Brother Kelvin!"(Rex)
"Congratulations Brother, it's my turn now."(Astelle)
"Goodluck lady Astelle."(Rex)
"Goodluck sister."(Kelvin)
The third one was Astelle, she approached the Katana. Astelle put her hand on the Katana's hilt and was about to communicate with it when the Katana's spirit suddenly make the first move. The Katana suddenly move and slash at Astelle's hand, blood essence of Astelle flows from her hand and it drops on the Katana's blade.
The blood in the katana slowly disappears, and just like that Astelle has been easily accepted by the Katana. The three young man inside the smithy was shocked on what happened as they gazed at Vulcan.
"Ohoho... Like I thought, you were really love by swords young lady. Your grandfather would be proud of you."(Vulcan)
Astelle was also shocked but she recovered immediately. She remembered that she received a new skill after her first Katana was destroyed.
'Thank you for accepting me. I will not break your trust.'(Astelle)
Astelle walks back on where the others are.
"Sigh... Lady Astelle is really amazing."(Rex)
"Yeah... She did not even do anything and the Katana made the first move."(Kelvin
"Yeah, it's amazing."(Argus)
"Thank you. Goodluck for you then."(Astelle)
"Ah kid I forgot to tell you... That weapon is not friendly at all, it is probably one of the materials I have put but it has a bit of temper you see. The only thing you can do to accept you is to subdue it."(Vulcan)
"You planned it right, old dwarf?"(Argus)
"I do not know anything about it. I also find the spirit residing inside weird."
Vulcan just shrugged his shoulder. Argus could only sigh and approach the Scythe. As he gets near, the challenging feeling he felt earlier became stronger and stronger. He ignored it and put his hand on the long handle of the Scythe. Argus closed his eyes to try to communicate with the Scythe's spirit but before he could even release his thought, the Spirit became aggressive and tried to attack him.
Allow me to explain, when Rex and Kelvin was having communication with their weapon's spirit they are using their Soul as a medium. It's like when Argus was communicating with Astrea was thanks to their Soul and their contract.
When Awakener hold any part of the Spiritual Armament they can now start communicating with their Spirit since the Awakener's Soul and the weapon's Spirit has now a connection through physical contact of the Awakener's body and the weapon.
As for Vulcan's advice to subdue a weapon's spirit is a test of a Awakener's Soul and will. Will is a different thing from a Soul. The concept of will often includes the intent, resolve, and focus of the Awakener. A will refers to a manifestation of a Awakener's inner strength, determination, and comprehension of their Cultivation Path.
Argus was already prepared since Vulcan warned him.
'You're testing my will, huh. I have already found my path. To walk a path that no one has succeeded. To destroy those things that will ruin what I want. I'm selfish you see. I will need you for that to happen so...'(Argus)
Argus did not stop the attack of the Scythe's Spirit. The will of the Scythe clash against his will. The clash of wills only happened inside Argus's mind so it looks like nothing is happening outside but inside the clash of the two was intense. Not long after the Scythe's will started to wane.
"Follow me you dumb Scythe."(Argus)
When Argus said that, the Scythe release a purple glow that felt ominous but it immediately calmed down. He was successful in subduing the Scythe's spirit.
"Ohoho... You are really something kid, to think you would subdue it immediately. However your current strength was not enough to even lift this. Like you said, I forged it to become heavy. I do not even know if a peak Core Forging Realm can lift this Scythe. Well I don't know if these twins can lift it but you are just a human."(Vulcan)
Argus heard him and tried to lift the Scythe but it didn't even budge.
"What? Is it really that heavy? Let me try!"(Rex)
Argus did not stop him. The Scythe would have counterattack again if it wasn't subdued by Argus so there is nothing to be worried about plus Rex also is a strong person. Rex tried but it also didn't budge. He tried with all his might but it's not use.
"Interesting, let me also try it. I already formed my core so my power increased drastically. Our Race is also considered one of the strongest so I accept this challenge."(Kelvin)
Kelvin was also a bit excited. His power is mainly focused in Strength and Vitality unlike his sister who focused on Agility. Though he is more on Vitality Stats since he need to have a stronger body to defend. He was pretty confident in lifting the Scythe. Kelvin confidently walks at the Scythe. Kelvin use one hand to lift it but it just barely lifted.
Kelvin was shocked so he immediately use his other hand and try to lift it again. He gritted his teeth since he felt the heaviness of the Scythe. A few seconds later he barely lifted it in a fighting position. He did not relax though, his whole body is sweating just to lift this Scythe.
"Try swinging brother!"(Rex)
Kelvin was cursing him inside of his mind and he had let his guard down.
Thud
The Scythe falls down from his hand. Fortunately it did not hit any part of the body and it just falls on the floor. If somehow that hit Kelvin's feet, being that heavy it would have broken his feet. Kelvin started panting after that.
"Ohoho that's very impressive young Draconian. As expected of your race."(Vulcan)
"But he just barely lift it."(Rex)
"Ohoho, that's already impressive if you ask me. This weapon was the strongest Core Forging Weapon I had made. It probably can rival even a lower Spiritual Armament of the Blood Forging Realm."(Vulcan)
Everyone of them was amazed especially the owner of course. Argus became happy and curious at the same time.
'Can I lift that after I broke through?'(Argus)
Argus was asking himself but deep inside there is this confidence that he can do it. A smile appeared on his face. Vulcan saw it.
"Ohoho... Looks like you are pretty confident that you can lift this."(Vulcan)
Argus just look at him. Astelle was also shocked on what happened he knows that his brothers current Strength Stat has surpassed 600 but he can barely wield lift it. She also notice that Kelvin used skills and energy to enhance his power but he can only barely lift the Scythe.
'Are you saying to barely wield it you need to have at least 700 Stat in Strength? Can Argus have that strength after breaking through?'(Astelle)
Astelle was looking at Argus who was currently lost in thought while gazing at the Scythe on the floor. As a confirmation of what she was thinking.
"To barely wield this you have to possess at least 750 Stat in Strength. Well I do not know if this kid can have that strength but its his own request so he can only blame himself if his weak. However kid, if you cannot use this weapon while your at Core Forging Realm, you need to return it to me."
Argus saw the serious look of Vulcan and he nodded solemnly.
"That is no problem. Don't worry old dwarf I will not return it to you."(Argus)
"Pant... Pant... Pant... Mr.Vulcan you should have told that from the start I just embarrassed myself."(Kelvin)
Kelvin said with an exhausted expression.
