Argus was deep in his thought when suddenly his intuition told him of incoming danger. Astrea also woke up a little bit slower since he sense an incoming danger. He hug Astrea and roll to dodge the attack
Swoosh!
Argus already knows that the blacksmith below has already surfaced but he did not think that the blacksmith would attack him. Although he dodged the attack, a very strong gust of wind hit him and he was blown away. Argus almost hit the wall but he change his position mid air and place his feet on the wall to cushion him and Astrea.
Argus look on the direction of the attacker and he saw an old man with a muscular body standing 2 meters tall. The old man has a white mustach and beard with a messy white hair. Argus notice the small pointed ears beside the old man's head.
'A dwarf?'(Argus)
The old man in front of him belongs to the dwarf race. Dwarfs in Vesmir is not small unlike what humans believe long time ago. They are not much different from Human beside the slightly pointed ears they possessed.
You can see a difference between a dwarf and elf if you look at the ears. Elves's ears are longer and more pointed than the Dwarf's ear. Argus look at the weapon that the old man wields and he saw a big hammer weapon.
'He's very strong.'(Argus)
Argus knows that the person in front of him is very strong. He did not now if his rank is par with Leonidas since the gap of their strength was as wide as heaven and earth.
{Old Dwarf's POV}
The dwarf was also looking at Argus with a hint of amusement. His attack just now was supposed to be an sneak attack, a normal or even a talented awakener cannot dodge that simple hammer swing. The old dwarf also adjust his strength that even a peak beginner Realm would just passed out if they are hit in the head and will suffer headache after waking up. A perfect punishment for a intruder brat.
"Grrr"(Astrea)
The old dwarf saw the white wolf jump down from brats arms and prepared for battle.
"For an intruder brat like you to tame a Unique Beast, I can say I'm impressed. Do intruders now have this high qualifications? If so, then I need to be more careful from now on."(Old Dwarf)
The old dwarf mocked the brat in front of him trying to test his reaction. He was disappointed though since the brat in front of him only twitch his lips.
"Sigh... I'm sorry for entering without your permission but I am not an intruder or anything. Astrea calm down he is not an enemy."(Argus)
"Ohoho, you already said it yourself. Entering without my permission right?"(Old Dwarf)
The old dwarf was amused since the brat was not taking a battle stance and just stared at him calmly like he knows he will not do anything dangerous on him. Unlike his summoned beast who is very fierce. The Senses of a beast should be the most sensitive especially a Unique Beast since it's a matter of their life and death. He notice that the wolf was trembling but the wolf still ready to attack anytime which amaze him.
Well he did not plan to kill this brat anyway and just wants to teach him a lesson. So he wants to scare him for the time being.
"I just came here to ask if you can forge a weapon for me."(Argus)
"Ohoho, I haven't even yet to forgive you for intruding but you want me to forge you a weapon? Ohoho... What weapon?"(Old Dwarf)
"If you do not want I will leave. There are many blacksmith out here. I will just have to find one. Astrea let's go. Goodbye."(Argus)
The old dwarf notice that the brat in front of him has a calm personality. He was shocked that the brat just started to leave but he did not stop him.
"What weapon do you want to be forged?"(Old Dwarf)
The old man asked out of curiosity.
"Long Scythe"
Argus paused slightly without looking back and answered. Then he continued walking.
The old dwarf was shocked to the firm answer of the brat.
"You will come back here if you want that kind of weapon."(Old Dwarf)
"Let's see!"(Argus)
Argus then continued walking.
"Long Scythe? Ohohoho... Someone wants me to forge that kind of weapon? No, it looks like he didn't know a thing about that kind of weapon or he can confidently say that he will find other blacksmiths. Ohoho interesting... That brat will comeback here again. I will wait for him."(Old Dwarf)
The old man take a one last look at the door in front of him then walks back to his forging room.
{Argus's POV}
"Grrrr"(Astrea)
Astrea is expressing that she was angry for the old man.
"No, no you do not have to feel angry. That attack was really unexpected but it is also my fault. You see Astrea, I'm the one intruded someone's territory and that Old Dwarf just trying to defend his home. I'm the one at fault, also he is not trying to kill us but to teach me a lesson so do not be angry at him."(Argus)
Astrea says she knows that the old man is not a bad guy but she was just angry on what he did to them. Argus smiled and just pat her head but Astrea avoided it. It looks she still did not accept Argus as her Master.
Thinking of what happened earlier, he should have waited outside instead of entering. Anyway, even if he show the Guild Token to the old man he bet he will not even care about that token. Since he was not even that shocked when he saw and identified Astrea as a Unique Beast.
Argus was also a bit careless that he let Astrea out. Fortunately that old dwarf looks like not a blabbermouth and he does not seem to much interested on Astrea.
"Go back for now Astrea and I will try to find other blacksmith tomorrow."
Argus plans to rest tomorrow since the two have been in the wild for almost 3 days without returning. He plans to find other blacksmith to forge him a Scythe while in a rest.
When Argus went to their apartment. He saw Astelle is in the living room lying on the couch while she was reading a book in a very cute pajamas. Astrea looked at the direction of the door and she saw Argus. Realizing who it is, she immediately fixed herself and sit properly like nothing happened.
"Ahem... Good evening."(Argus)
Argus did not know what to say.
{Astelle's POV}
Astelle did not expect that someone will enter the house at this hour so she let her guard down and lays down on the couch and started reading. If someone saw her now they would be mesmerized by her cute look. Astelle was a bit disappointed that Argus reaction on her was not was she was expecting.
'My charm does not work on this person. Unbelievable... '(Astelle)
Astelle did not notice that her mindset is slowly being set to attract Argus's attention.
"A-ah yeah... Good evening too. Wait, where are you this past 3 days? You did not even return to sleep here right?"(Astelle)
"Leveling Up"(Argus)
"Hard working, huh...Have you eaten yet? There is a left over food I cook inside the fridge, if you're hungry just heat it up in the microwave."(Astelle)
"I've already eaten dinner, thank you for the offer. Anyway, I will go to my room. Good night."(Argus)
Astelle did not stop him. She can see that Argus was mentally tired from his 'leveling up' in the past 3 days. She was thinking that Argus was a diligent person. Astelle and Kelvin was not leveling up because they already reached level 25 after that Abyssal Servant incident.
Tomorrow the two plans to finish their Realm Advancement Quest so they can form their own Mana Core and attack the next realm. Looking at Argus's room, Astelle also decided to sleep.
5:00 AM in the morning, the alarm Astelle sets rings that wake her up. She got up and walk down the stairs but she did not let her guard down like that time. She learned her lessons. Just thinking of that event she would start blushing.
She looks at Argus's room and she saw the light above the door that is shining green, meaning there is a person inside. It will shine red if the room was empty.
"Hmm... Maybe he's too tired to got up early. Anyway it's time to prepare food... What can I cook for today, right let's go with..."(Astelle)
After washing up, Astelle wears her apron and start preparing breakfast. She always included Argus part everytime she cook. This starts after that incident. This past few days Kelvin notice that there are too much food that Astelle cooks so sometimes they are many leftovers for them to eat.
Her brother complains but she did not listen, she even became angry that if Kelvin did not stop complaining. Astelle will not include him when she was cooking, so Kelvin could only shut up.
