Chapter 99 - Forest Trouble (Part 1)

Kai and Kiara stood side by side in front of the second dungeon. Both were prepared, though the weight of what was ahead was heavy in the air.

They had already cleared one dungeon, a grueling ordeal, but there were still three more to go. It was clear that this wouldn't be a simple task.

"You think it'll be another B-rank, like last time?" Kai asked, cracking his knuckles as he stared at the dark stone archway that marked the entrance.

His voice was casual, but there was an edge to it. He wasn't worried, but there was a certain tension in the air that made him cautious.

No new dungeon gates had appeared recently, which meant these dungeons were likely intentional in their design… probably.

Kiara, standing next to him, shifted her weight slightly, her fingers absently brushing the peculiar stone she kept tucked safely into her pocket.

The stone was the key to understanding these dungeons, but the energy readings from the gate were misleading.
